I've found that in the programming profession you often work on another project while one is being tested, rather than simply sitting around during the test process. There are other delays that happen as well that make it advantageous to keep your staff working instead of sitting around. I haven't working on AVNs, but I suspect there are similar situations.

Yes, there are many situations. There are devs that take care of everything, rendering, coding, animations, editing etc, that's how I started with Oh Daddy, it was just me and I had a lot of trouble, thanks that the game likes other people joined, so now one renders, another does animations, another does coding, we divide the work, and when I finish my part, while others continue, I continue with another, so I'm never without doing anything. It also influences the mood, if you get sick, if you can't do your part, but in general it all depends on the main creator.

That was a very good explanation of how it was being done, and how the new flow of work will work, and how adding a 2nd game should not delay the original game production.

Just a suggestion, you might want to copy that explanation to your Discord/SS sites.

Finally, someone who understand that union made the force. So much low-quality game online made by only one dev. And update taking ages. I don't talk about the subscribed game that was abandoned... I would prefer less game, but better content and faster development and made by dev team. Continue like that mate, your game is at the top tier for me. This is the way! Also, I am dreaming the day that a simulator sandbox with that kind of quality is developed with Ren py/Daz. Living as a male protagonist in a town, choosing the girl you want to romance, many romance event to get her and ways to customize her look and outfit. Fucking her the way you want, where you want. (always more open to new fantasy equal to the love or corruption level you have with her). I guest this is the future. VN are nice but limited. I would pay hundreds of dollars for a completed game like that with various girl age options.

That's why my way of thinking is more as a player than as a creator. Some cases (that I know but I don't want to mention) give versions of (example) 1000 renders 5 animations and a game duration of 30 or 40 minutes, but each update takes 6 months or even 1 year, I prefer to do less renders and duration, but give faster versions. And the new game the Chronicles of Valhalla, will have more things, ( Oh Daddy is my first project) in the other, there will be sounds, combat, decisions, backpack with items, etc, it will not be just a story ( linear), the decisions count to have exclusive events, besides creating, I'm also learning to implement things haha

Good Luck with Chronicles of Valhalla as long as you don't totally forget about this one as well. I saw it the first time a LONG WHILE BACK and was very glad to see an update. I also thought it would be gone by now. It is such a sweet, cute fun game which I must say makes me laugh every time I play it. Thank you very much for all you guys' time for a great game and hope to see an update again. I would say I would prefer a longer one than just another 5min game time , but that's me I am greedy that way

If you have 5 people now (and a much better PC), then you could start making the updates bigger ? They've been 200 renders or less per update since the beginning (less than 200 the last few updates), they seem to get smaller not bigger despite having more people.

I explained that above, if they get bigger it will take longer to update, since the other project is also in development, and logically not everyone has the same power of machines, but we will do what we can!

The Discord is private, only for Subscribestar people. There was a public one but they denounced it, there were more than 2000 of us and they closed it, so now there is only one but private. Also in our Twitter we are posting news and information.
