Nope, half the games I play shit themselves when you enter: 陈萍 as a name.

I don't either. I use a 'Murican name for my MC's name.

Nope - I only ever rename the MC - always the same name, but not my own - my family are all ugly, so I aint renaming any of the LI's to that lol

I never rename other characters just always use the default names sometimes change the MC name.

Its kinda fun to name MC "Undertaker" in games where your MC is overpowered

I name the MC with a nickname, not a real name, relatives I have the name of my mother and idealized sisters who are not mine, distant relatives and other characters I tend to maintain the standard.

NTR Games I put the developer's nickname in honor or leave it as the default.

I go for default or MC when forced. Was a bit freaked when one game used my real first name, not understanding it was just coincidence. Thought the game hacked my info and used it.

I always change the name, and always use the same one, irrelevant of the nationality of the MC. Makes it easier to realise when other characters are talking about my character, without having to try and remember what the name is in the current game.

Usually leave it as the default name as it just feels right. If the default is not given then depending on the game genre, either self-insert or use a random generic name.

Honestly if it has a default name. It's usually what I pick. A) It minimizes the hassel. B) It's the "Canon" name anyway. C) Using my actual name can feel weirdly distracting.
