This site's incest tag definition mentions that blood relations are typical, but that implies that they are not a requirement for the tag. Tag stays. If you think there should be a stricter definition of the incest tag, that's something to take up with the site's admins/mods in a thread in offtopic, not in an individual game's thread.

Also, your claim that "several" other sites do would need support. The other major site like this one, Fuck95, also does not separate incest and stepcest/adoptedcest, and even more explicitly includes those as part of the incest tag:

It's fine if you disagree with the assessment that the incest tag should include stepcest and adoptedcest. I even agree with you that they should be separated. But until they are, there's no use getting into arguments with other users, mods, or uploaders about it in individual game threads.

I havent been around much, so I never saw this. I saw the "step" and the incest tag and came to comment before seeing the aruement.

First, let me state that the tags definitions are not very good and that is (was) my fault. I had planned on fleshing them out back when I was admin, but never got around to it with all of the tag-wars that never ended.

But, incest is "blood related". So even if it says "are typical", it is incorrect. I had to quickly fill in temp definitions for hundreds of tags, so most of them I either used a basic wikipedia def or or I used chatgpt to create one. I was just too caught up on fixing all of the more debated tags and never noticed this one was badly worded.

The purpose of these tags is to help people find content they are interested in, or avoid content they do not want to see.

Nobody who is interested in actual incest is going to give a fuck about fakecest. And on the opposite side, nobody who is "omg thats gross" about actual incest is going to be gagging over how gross step-siblings fucking is (unless they are 10, but if so, they should not be here anyways). So I 100% agree that in this case, the tag is not only inaccurate, but completely wrong.
