Another week, another progress update!

The script for the little snippet is almost done and I'm already firing up the renders in the background. I added a pretty deep talk that the MC has with Sabrina ( this all happens before you get the "flashback", the whole scene in general is very very long ) where you get the option to share your feelings with her open and honest... Or not. I don't want to get into too much detail of this talk, but it will be mostly about Sarah and her past. Like I said a few times, this snippet will talk about the things that happened the day before ( the Mike incident, if you want to call it that ) and I think it was the right decision to pick this event and not one with Bethany only. You will get a lot of information on what happened during this day already and my hope is that this will make you even more excited for Chapter 4 in general. Just keep in mind that there will be some "spoilers" of events that already happened during that day, so if you're not a fan of that then I can not recommend playing this snippet. Like I said though, my hope is that you will think "Damn, that happened earlier? Now I can't wait to see it in game for real!" since they won't talk about anything with too much detail, the MC will just mention stuff like "Earlier this day I talked to Lina" etc. I really think this snippet was the right thing to do, release a ~20 minute long snippet to enjoy some time with Sabrina from the main game ( and prequel ). Todays render is from the small part of the snippet where you get some prequel Sabrina time, where she is blushing in MCs bedroom. I wonder why.

I'm also currently working to release a functional version of My New Family 0.14 ( Chapter 1-9 ) for Android users. I have to convert all the images, which are around 15-20k, so that will be posted on itch.io and everywhere else once it's ready. It's just to ensure that if you are running the latest Android version, you can play both, 0.14 and the Epilogue fine. The PC version being "one" release is still in the works by me, that will also release very soon ( so if you ever want to replay My New Family, you just have to download one file and don't have to save at a specific spot in the game again ). I will also remove all the Dead links from my pages, mainly the MEGA ones ( since my MEGA account got deleted back in the day for DMCA claims by some agency ). I will provide other mirrors ( pixeldrain, gofile or for My New family, please use itch.io ) for you to download my games.

Speaking of My New Family, if I'm not doing much for the Chapter 4 snippet or the prequel, I'm still spending most of my time in Honey Select ( 1 and 2 ). I feel like it's very important to keep going back, even when My New Family is already completed, just to make sure I don't unlearn anything for MNF2 ( Trust me, this happened in November 2023 when I had no idea how to do certain things for the Christmas special ).

With the german law still not wanting to hand out that one harddrive that literally only contains my daz3d files, nothing else, I'm slowly but surely drifting in a not so good place of mind again. Working on the Chapter 4 snippet has been helping a lot not getting too desperate, though, and I can't wait to hear what you guys think. It will be a one time thing though, I'm not planning to release another snippet where you do something with Bethany, I think. It all depends on what you guys think, of course. Just wanted to give you guys a brief update regarding that situation, there is nothing new yet...After 1 1/2 years.

Another week, another progress update!

I just have a short update regarding my case, my lawyer called me last thursday to basically tell me "I requested an update on the case file in december 2024 and didn't hear back from the state attorney since then", which basically sums up Germanys law system in a nutshell. Seriously, I started to look up similar cases with heavier accusations and it's all the same, they take their sweet time for everything. It's annoying as hell. Oh well.

Let's jump to the games now.

I'm now at the part of the Chapter 4 snippet where the MC and Sabrina will think back to a certain event that will happen in the prequel as well. Once I realized that it's kinda funny, since you play a portion of Chapter 4 of the main game and then a portion of Chapter 2 of the prequel. I know this might not be for everyone and it's totally fine if you don't want to play the snippet since you prefer for the full release of Chapter 4. Like I said, this is mainly for my state of mind regarding the main game, since it has been so long since I made renders for it. Writing is always nice, but writing and rendering gives a different feeling. Still, the prequel will get a lot of love after this from me since I really want to push the stuff there forward, after the great feedback I got from you guys ( and the demand for more haha ). I plan for the MC and Jackie to explore their feelings a little, for example, something that will be very new to both of them since they have such a strong friendship. It's going to be very interesting for me to write stuff like that because I remember when I was in school, I had two friends who had been best friends for a long time and then developed feelings for each other. It didn't have a happy end though so I'm going to make sure that it will have one in the prequel ( or maybe it doesn't have to end at all? ). Todays render is Sabrina blushing on the couch because now that the MC remembers everything, she is a little shy again.

I'm also more and more leaning into continuing using Honey Select 1 for My New Family 2. I heard a lot of feedback from people on the Discord, here on this site and on a certain forum that they like how HS2 is more modern, but they would prefer to have My New Family 2 in honey select 1. I guess I just have to see if I can make it in a decent way, mainly because that engine is pretty old. Still, I'll probably start to create Lucys and MCs tenant and see how I feel. If you want to know what this version of MNF2 would look like you can play the Christmas Special I released in December 2023, I used some different honey select plugins there to make the game look a little better. I don't know, I'm still open to hear any feedback regarding this from you guys. But I guess I should show characters first in order for you to judge, right?

Another week, another month, another progress update!

I have a little update, not regarding the case where my stuff got taken, but regarding the case where I had to appear in court as a witness/victim. The supreme court in germany denied the appeal of 3 of the 4 suspects ( since the main suspect fled to thailand ), which basically means their jail sentence will be in full effect now. That was very good news, on a personal level.

Let's jump into the games!

As you probably have noticed, I wasn't able to release the snippet in february, contrary to what I promised. I'm extremely sorry for that, I think I underestimated the length of it a little ( even though it's only about the length of a MNF day ). Maybe it was a little bit of "overwork" before the first prequel chapter release as well, but that is still not an excuse. But I have very good news, I have fully completed the script for the snippet and now only have to make the renders, which should easily be done this week! So if you were a $5 or higher tier supporter in the month of february but stopped to support in March, please send me a DM so you can play the snippet ~2 days before I release it for everyone to play. Like I said in other progress updates, this little snippet will talk a lot about stuff that happened earlier in that (ingame) day, so if you don't like to get spoiled ( things like the talk with Jessica a little, the MC talking about Karla and the twins etc ), and rather want to see it when the full Chapter releases, then don't play the snippet. I can highly recommend it though if you want some fresh My New Memories main game story! Todays render is Sabrina sitting on the couch, shortly after Bethany left to give the MC and her some privacy.

I also worked some more on the script for Chapter II of the prequel and I'm still super happy about the fact that you want to see more of it - At least until I can fully work on the main game again. My current idea is something related to Jackie, since her backstory is a good explanation on why the MC and Anna never hid the fact that they adopted Sarah and Lina ( once Lina was old enough to know about this, Sarah already knew right away of course ). Jackie already explained this a little to the MC, but will go into a deeper talk with him during an event they will have after the MC tells her that Anna will eventually come back.

That is not the only thing I'm working on though, like I said in other progress updates, I'm still a little torn regarding the engine I want to use for My New Family 2. I think it will all come down to a poll I'll make where I will show characters and you can decide which one you like more. It will most likely be Lucy and Sandra how they will look in MNF 2 using Honey Select ( they will look a little different since 18 years will pass ) and Honey Select 2 ( which will be a completely new look for them ). Lucy is the most loved character of My New Family so I think it's important that you guys get to see her and can then decide with your vote what you prefer. Of course it all comes down to what I prefer to work with in the end, but I will take every bit of feedback into consideration.

And I think thats it for now. My mental health has been getting better over these last few weeks and the extreme feeling of being down and not being able to do as much as I wanted to is basically gone. I'm very happy that I'm back on my usual work routine, even though I'm still struggling with this hell of a case against me. Still, I'm very confident that I will be able to release more updates this year than last year - Which is not difficult one would think, since it took me almost a year to finish the first prequel chapter. But yeah, new prequel chapter ( maybe even 2? ) + MNF2 + hopefully Chapter 4 ( once I get my stuff back it will be very fast ) will all happen this year. Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again!

As some of you may have noticed, I was finally able to release the small snippet for Chapter 4 for supporters. As I said in the post, it's a long event with Sabrina where you will have a lot to talk about. I will release this snippet for everyone shortly after I made this post - You can grab it directly from . If you have My New Memories on Steam the snippet will be available in the Beta branch - Right click My New Memories on Steam, Hit Properties and then you can select the Beta under "Betas". Keep in mind that you should not save during this snippet and that you will eventually replay this event. Still, I hope you guys will like this small preview to Chapter 4, the feedback from supporters has been very positive!

Now that the snippet is done I went back to the prequel and continued to work a lot more on it. After the big reveal from Rei things have been shook up a little, but I don't want it to be the focus of this chapter. Since the MC started two relationships ( if you decided to go that route ) it will be more important for him to continue to hone his feelings towards Lea and Rei. Still, Anna is constantly on his mind and I'm going to explain a few things to people that never played the main game. Todays render is Lea in the evening at MCs house, where she started to be a very regular guest. The big reveal from Rei will more or less stay between him, Rei and Sabrina, mainly because it's not that big of a deal for Rei and for the MC it's pretty important that this stays "hidden" for now. I also plan to involve Katharina a little more into MCs lovelife, since I always liked the trope of the sexy neighbor "teaching" the MC. Think of Mary in MNF, I guess, just a little more perverted. After she heard how the MC lost his virginity to Lea she is super excited to finally amp up the pace with him, something that will also stir up some thoughts in Bethany. Like I said a few times by now, the prequel is there to make sure that you get to know the MC and all his nice traits before he married and started a family.

I also worked on MNF2 again, it's mainly writing some stuff though since I'm super hesitant to boot up Honey Select 1 or 2 to start working on these characters. It's more of an self inflicted issue, I think, because I want to make sure that the characters still look how they did in MNF1, just...Different, I guess. I mean, it's going to be 18 years after the end of MNF1, usually people don't stay with the same look for that long. Given the special "powers" the MC has they won't really age ( like it's explained ingame ) but I'm thinking of giving them a bit of a glowup. You'll see what I mean once I can get over myself and start fully working on them. Lucy and Sandra are my priority, so if I have something to show for, those will be the first 2 you're going to see.

Let's jump right into the games again!

You guys have no idea how extremely happy I am that you amazing people enjoyed the snippet I made with the Sabrina event. Now I'm seriously considering making another one with a very long Bethany event ( including some lewd fun with her that will result in an animation that would be in the snippet as well ), but I'm not 100% sure on that. It really warmed my heart to see that so many of you were happy to play this super small event you will experience in chapter 4, reading that even though you wish it was the full chapter, you take the snippet just to remember... Well, the game, I guess. Reading that people missed this story and my writing was such a good feeling, it really helped me get through the tougher times again. Thank you so so much for that. But before I work on a Bethany snippet I'll continue to work on MNF2 and the next Prequel chapter!

Speaking of prequel, I'm making super good progress on the script again and I'm hopeful that the writing for the first day of the chapter will be done this week. That means I can start rendering next week and release the first beta of Chapter 2 for supporters! Todays render is from the earlier part of the day, where you go to a Madi Café with Rei to talk more about your families. The MC didn't really tell her that much about Jessica yet, for example, or even the new family his father started. All of this will lead to Rei to talk more about Anna as well, of course, and the MC is going to be extra careful to not mention anything. After all Anna must have her reasons to not mention that she already found the love of her life back then, right? At least thats what the MC is thinking. He is struggling a lot with his emotions for her, especially with the new love he is experiencing with Rei and Lea. I really enjoy writing the MC like that, where he has to learn about those feelings, before he became the more confident man he is in the main game ( even though not as confident because of the amnesia, but it'll come back ). I don't want him to be an arrogant cocky dude who knows that all girls will fall for him, but I also don't want him to be someone that is too shy to say what he wants. It's a fine line and I think I'm walking it well so far. As you know, I really really dislike asshole mcs that are mean to their girls. I can keep my promise that this will never ever happen in the game.

I also worked a tad bit on My New Family 2 again. I feel like I'm getting the bigger picture of the story I'm writing now, which helps to not think too much about the engine I'm going to use. With how the story ended in MNF1, it's going to be challenging to introduce the new girls to the circumstances of their ... Let's say, Landlord and Landlady situation. I don't plan to make a girl be super repulsive regarding these things, but I also don't want it in a way that it's just natural that these girls will fall for the MC as well. I guess he has to work for it, just like he had to in MNF1. Still, I think especially with the tenant he has with Lucy it's going to be a lot of fun. I mean, can you imagine her calling him super stupid pelican? That will be funny.

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again!

I've been getting in a super good workflow again which makes me very happy. I was mainly writing stuff and making renders for the next prequel chapter. As you might have guessed, the event where Rei revealed who her cousin is will be a little longer than usual and it will end up with a cute little animation in the end. Can't say more, but what I can say is that the dialogues they will have is going to be something I have never really done in any of my games before. Rei already knows a lot about the MC, Bethany and Sabrina. But she barely knows anything about Jessica and, even more important, about MCs father and his new family. She is interested to hear about how the parents of the MC divorced and why Sabrina feels the way she does regarding their father. I think I did a decent job so far, where the MC tells her basically how it all started and where him and his father are standing relationship wise now. Keep in mind that Karla and the twins are already a thing there, but that basically only the MC and Bethany know about it, so it's going to be an interesting little event when the MC ends up telling Sabrina about it. Still, I personally feel like it's good to give the MC a father that is not an asshole for once. He will also talk about Jessica, but won't mention that he suspects that Jessica might have feelings for him, since he isn't sure about it yet. This day is going to be super long because I feel like the prequel needs those days from time to time - I will change stuff a little up. So you wont go through every weekday or something like that but I will rather make it so certain days in university are interesting and then the weekend has interesting stuff again. In the evening of the first day you're going to spend some time with Lea and her mother, as you can see in todays render! And I can promise you that Chapter 2 will be even longer than Chapter 1, and that it won't take nearly as long to release.

I also worked some more on the main game again, basically connecting a few strings during the dialogue the MC has with Rei to the current time, where Karla, Caroline and Emily ( His step ... Landlady ... and two... Half roomates... ) are already thinking about moving to the new house. Right after the event you have with Sabrina you will go to Sarah, as you know if you played the snippet, and this event will just be as long as the little snippet you played. Like I said, Chapter 4 will be huge, which will be needed after the extremely long wait you guys had to endure. And don't worry, it's not like I will keep waiting it out forever. I'm already looking for people that did amazing jobs recreating daz3d characters so I can set a date in my head where I will say fuck waiting for the police woman to admit that she is wrong about that SSD drive and just recreate the characters. But for now, I still like to stick to what I said and wait to see if things will look better in a few months. I hope you guys understand that.

Regarding My New Family 2 I'm kinda stuck at the moment, creatively. I know that a lot of you amazing people are waiting for this and I can 100000% promise the first (long) chapter will release sometime this year. You guys know that I always want to give the best "first impression" on releases, that's why I was so happy that you guys love the prequel that much. It means that I will continue to release longer updates etc, even if it means work on the update might take a little longer. It's totally understandable and 100% fair if you don't want to wait that long for updates or game releases though and I would never be mad if you decide to stop to support me and move on to other games. Never feel the need to keep supporting even though you're not really enjoying my work anymore ( or how I work in general ).

And I think thats it for now, people. Nothing new regarding the case yet so I'm sticking to my lawyer who said "No news is good news". If anything comes up I'll let you guys know as soon as possible though! Until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

As some of you amazing supporters may have noticed, I'm currently running a poll regarding betas of My New Memories ( And My New Family 2 in the future ). To give you a tl;dr, I'm thining of releasing more betas with "less" content ( it will still be longer than the snippet, for example ), which means you will get releases faster. Nothing will change regarding the overall size of a chapter, it just means that if you prefer to play "longer" betas, you just have to wait until I release the 2nd and 4th beta, because then nothing will change for you. I'm doing this mainly to combat writing burnout when I stick for too long. So it basically means that you will get content in a faster way, I don't think there is any downside to it. The fact is that My New Memories: The Beginning has released January 1st and the only thing I released in the meantime was the snippet. I don't like not delivering more content, so this will hopefully make it easier ( at the moment the poll is in favor of releasing more betas ).

Speaking of betas, I will most likely follow through with it for the first to release, which means you will get to play the first Beta for Chapter 2 most likely this weekend! This beta will contain a super long event with Rei and then some quality time with Jackie. You can see her in todays progress update and the MC and her will have a very serious and emotional talk, talking about their feelings they might have for each other. Don't forget that they are best friends, so letting feelings into this relationship will not be easy for them. Still, if you know my games then the outcome will always be positive. This event will also be pretty long, and both of them will also talk some more about their families. If you remember, her situation is kinda difficult to herself and she is still struggling with the fact that her parents aren't really her parents. The MC will do his best to comfort her, of course, coming from a household that also went through certain phases of being alone ( not nearly as bad as Jackie had to go through though ). Feedback on this beta will be pretty important because I'm letting the MC talk a lot to instead of the usual "the girls speak and the MC reacts" conversations. So please tell me what you think of that once you play this beta.

After I gathered some feedback regarding the snippet I'm still thinking about releasing one with a very long Bethany event, but I'm not 100% certain on that. I feel like giving too many snippets for Chapter 4 will just take away time that I could invest in the prequel and My New Family 2 or Chapter 4 in general, so thats all not final. The good thing is that Chapter 4 has so much content already that while rendering might take a while, you'll get the biggest beta ever once I have my assets back. Regarding My New Family 2 I'm still undecided regarding Honey Select 1 or 2, but at the moment I'm more leaning into Honey Select 1 again to keep the "known" style of My New Family. Like I said a few times by now, if you want to know how My New Family 1 might look, go play the Christmas special I released!

Another week, another month, another progress update!

So, I messed up. Not intentionally, but I messed up. My plan was to finish the script for the first Chapter 2 beta of My New Memories: The Beginning last week and then make the renders, which would have taken me until the weekend for a most likely sunday release. Instead I got sick. I don't know if it's Covid again ( I have yet to make a test ) but during Monday evening last week I got the stuffy nose and then it went downhill from there. It might just be a bad cold simce I'm already recovering nicely, my nose is more or less free and I got the coughing / sore throat now, which usually means I'm at the end of the cold. To make a long story short, I wasn't able to finish as much as I wanted. But I'll make it up to you guys. If you have been a $15 supporter or higher in the month of March 2025, you'll get the first beta regardless, and once I release the second beta, $5 supporters that were there in March 2025 will get it as well. Just remember to send me a DM once the post with the beta is up and you'll get the links right away. Thats the least I can do.

Okay, now that I got that off my chest, let's talk some more about Chapter 2 of the prequel. I have a great idea for a huge plot twist you'll get at the end of it. I know I know, you love and hate me for doing this kind of stuff, but this one will be extremely different compared to anything I have ever done. It will be very positive but most likely be such a big surprise that will need a good explanation in the game before it gets unveiled, especially regarding things that happened in the main game. All I can say is that it involves Bethany and someone else, you're not getting anything else out of me. Todays render shows Bethany in MCs room, it's during the night of the same day the MC learns about Rei. They talk about it some more, but Bethany also expresses her feelings regarding the MC getting intimate with a decent amount of ladies already. She's not concerned or anything, she just wants to make sure that the girls are all cool with it, I guess? I guess it's a good thing she doesn't know what Lea, Sabrina and the MC did the night before. I'm super excited to work on this Chapter now that I have made up my mind regarding the plot twist, and I'll do my best to release it way quicker than Chapter 1 took. Like I said, I want to get out a nice flow of updates out again, so once Chapter 2 is released, I can hopefully release Chapter 4 of My New Memories and/or My New Family 2. Still, it feels good to be motivated again, and I'll make sure that these are not just words. I always have the motto of "Show, don't tell", so I'm going to make sure this will be the case.

With me being down with the sickness ( no pun intended ) it was rather difficult to work on Chapter 4 or My New Family 2, so I don't have much to share there. We're reaching the point that it has been 2 years since I released Chapter 3 and this was like a looming sword over me for a long time, so I'm also more or less bombarding my lawyer with calls and emails ( well, more emails since I can't really talk right now ) to urge him to get a response from the state attorney. Like I said a few months ago, I will go all the way to make sure that I get my SSD back that only contains my render assets. I really don't care about anything else they got fro0m me.

Sorry that this progress update is probably not what you expected. I don't want any pity or stuff like that, I deserve all the blame you want to throw at me ( be it with cancelling your support or anything else ). I'll make sure to make up for the lost time though, like I said above! If I hear anything new I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

First, thank you guys so much for being so understanding regarding my post last week. I really hate when I can't deliver on something I promised and I have to be held accountable for not giving you guys what you deserve - updates for the games. With me being sick I kind of had an excuse, but I still want to make it up to you guys, that's why I said that if you were a supporter in March, you'll get acces to the first beta of Chapter 2 regardless. Just message me once it's released and you get the links directly ( I can't really contact you on my own regarding this, so please reach out once the post is up! ). The good news is that I'm more or less fully recovered now. It's weird, "back in the day" a cold usually only lasted for 3-4 days max, now I'm basically bedridden for 1 1/2 weeks, feeling like shit. Maybe it's because I'm getting old, but maybe it's also because the colds are getting stronger. No idea.

Anyway, I'm also more or less done with the script and started to transition into making all the renders. I kinder underestimated that this first part of the first Chapter 2 day is way longer than I anticipated, but I think that's a good thing. For example, the ultra long Rei event you have after her reveal is my longest single person event for any game I made so far. I hope it's interesting enough for you to enjoy, especially since the MC will share a lot of information this time. The second event will be with Jackie, like I mentioned two weeks ago, and if you pay attention there she will mention a lot of things that will explain a few traits of Sarah in the original game. Since Jackie is also adopted it makes sense that he can see paralels to Sarah later on, even though she knew that she is adopted, compared to Jackie who only recently found out. Still, this event will show how close the MC and her are and from the looks of it, Jackie might want to be even closer. That's for you to decide though, if you want to open this path with her. Todays render is Amelie, though, in her dorm room. With Amelie I'm basically jumping into new waters since she is a character that is completely "new", she has no ties or connections to anyone, something I have never done before. If you think back to MNF, all of the girls were somehow connected to each other - Even Dianna, who was in contact with Fiona before etc. I hope you guys will enjoy Amelies company, though, especially since her first appearance was rather dramatic.

While the renders are being made I usually go back to Chapter 4 of My New Memories, which is almost at the length of the first prequel release - and I'm not even done with the first full day yet. Once I have my files back the rendering might take a while but it will be such a joy to put pictures on these events , especially anything that is related to Anna time. But I also want to slowly explore a path that I've never done before in any of my games, not on the first day, but it will get talked a lot about with Anna. Remember when Sarah mentioned Sabine's family, especially her mother, when she was in the hospital with the MC? I really want to dive into this part of kinks and I hope I can pull it off in a good way. I still want to stick what I can do best, which is wholesome household loving with no drama, but getting a bit kinkier ( like I did a few times in MNF ) is always fun, right?

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Sorry that there is not that much stuff to share, I still hope you are somewhat happy with this update. If anything comes up I'll let you guys know, until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

I have finally completed the script for the first My New Memories: The Beginning Chapter 2 prequel and I'm now starting to make all the renders. It will be quite a lot, but I'm confident I'll be able to finish it this week. Todays render is a small portion of what happens directly after Rei reveals who her cousin is, I already mentioned that Sabrina of course felt the shock of the MC. This will lead to a talk with Sabrina and then a super long event with Rei, that will also include something lewd. I think I also mentioned this is the longest single person event I ever did in any of my games, so I hope you guys will enjoy it. But it's with Rei and I feel like she has become a very loved character by most of you fast! I'm hoping that the faster ( but also a bit shorter ) betas will help get me into a good groove again, since you amazing people voted that I should go this direction. So if you're going to play the first beta, please don't hesitate to give me feedback - Especially regarding the length, if that was enough for one beta etc. All feedback is welcomed in that regard! The next beta will kinda hint at what might happen at the end of Chapter 2, a reveal that is currently a little difficult to put in words but I will do my best to make it make sense in the prequel!

While I mostly prepare renders during the day and let my PC render them out overnight, I also worked a bit on Chapter 4 of the main game again. I felt like Bethany and the MC needed a longer event alone as well, even though Bethany will mention that she has no issues that the MC is staying with Anna or the household in general. Still, if you decided to pursue something with Bethany, you will have a very interesting talk with her regarding her feelings. You probably remember what she said after that certain night, that she just wanted to "get it ouf of her system" so she can have a normal relationship with the MC again. Well, that didn't work out, since the feelings are getting stronger and stronger. After being alone for such a long time, basically only caring about the household, it was pretty easy to see that the ginger lady would end up wanting more. With Karla and the twins arriving she might also worry to get "replaced", which is something the MC will clarify real fast. I think I mentioned this a few times by now but Chapter 4 will be all about healing and getting the relationships that only recently started to the next level, especially emotionally. So this event with Bethany will be a good indicator for that.

And I feel like thats it, there is not that much to report this week I feel like. If I learn anything new regarding...Well, anything, I'll update you guys asap. I hope you had some very relaxing easter holidays, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

As you might have noticed, I was not able to release the first Chapter 2 prequel beta this weekend. The very good news is that it will release Tonight or rather, super early in the morning tomorrow ( My guess is between 1 and 3 am CEST ). I'm just missing 3 or 4 renders and then I have to apply the fixes my proofreader found in terms of typos etc. This first beta will be a good bit longer than the snippet, like I said a few times, it's about the size of one My New Family beta ( if you remember those days ). It will be mainly about Rei and Jackie, who you see in todays render, blushing. I wonder what she is going to talk about with the MC, but I'm pretty sure you already have a good guess. This will be one of those events where you make a decision, one that is rather important down the road. Jackie is a very special character to me because her past directly influenced the MC in the main game regarding the adoption of Sarah and Lina. I think once you play this part of the game you will understand what I mean with it. I can't wait to read your feedback for this first beta. Don't forget, $15 and higher tier supporters will get to play it at the times I mentioned above and $5 and higher tier supporters will get to play it on the weekend! I'm also thinking about starting to offer Discounts on Patreon, so if you think that might be something for you, keep an eye out on it!

Since I was only making renders for the prequel I had a lot of time to work more on Chapter 4 and My New Family 2. I know most of you amazing people are waiting with a lot of anticipation to see how the girls look in My New Family 2. Don't forget, as soon as I show them they are still only concepts, so nothing you see is set in stone or might even happen like this. I'm still decicing on using Honey Select 1 ( the engine I used for MNF ), with the looks of the Christmas special, or Honey Select 2 ( that you might have seen used in games like Eternum ). Regarding Chapter 4, I was writing an event for Anna and the MC alone. It's going to be as romantic and "cheesy" as you probably expected from me when it comes to the developers favorite girl. I think the best comparison is to events you had alone with Sandra in My New Family, so there will be lots of kissing and hugging! And who knows, you might start to see some headpats ( not for Anna, but for some of the other girls that will randomly appear in this event ).

Another week, another month, another progress update!

As you may have noticed, the first beta for the second prequel chapter ( what a tongue twister ) is now available for all $5 and higher tier supporters. I will most likely make a beta branch for steam too, I just have to figure some things out for that first, so stay tuned until you read about it there!

Feedback for this beta has been pretty good, the "shorter" length didn't seem to be an issue for most of you so I will continue to do it like that. I'm already busy working on the next beta, which hopefully will release by the end of this month. After the event with Jackie, you get reminded by Bethany that the Beckers ( Katharina and Lea ) are waiting for you to have dinner. The fact that Katharina, of all people, wants to cook, makes the MC very suspicious and once you play this event you will know why. It's probably going to be one of my bigger plot twists that I somehow have to explain before it drops, but I'm pretty confident in doing so. Katharina might drop some hints while the MC and Lea are clueless. I think this will be a great "first day" of the new Chapter, hopefully it will make you anxious to hear what the hell is going on. You know I'm all about "happy cliffhangers" and this one will be not any different, even though I know a lot of you people hate and love me for that. But trust me on this one, it will be very good. Like I said though, I have to somehow figure out how to do it so it makes sense - not only for the prequel but also for the main game ( though it makes sense to not get mentioned there since the focus is on MCs amnesia and him not remembering basically anything ). Keep in mind that my games are not focussed on "realism" when it comes to stuff like that, it's all meant to be a good journey that will make you feel happy! Todays render is Rei in the park, from the first beta!

So while I was putting my focus more on the next prequel beta, I was also able to squeeze in some stuff for the main game. I feel like with the ginger twins arriving the MC definitely needs some time to catch up with them in his hometown ( not the one where he stays during the prequel, but the one where he moved to with Anna ). Caroline and Emily ( the ginger twins ) love to hang out with the MC, since he always shows them the coolest places. I have a super interesting one in mind which I'm not going to spoil, but let's just say one of the twins will get very confident and then extremely shy about certain dialogues. The other one will make fun of her, just to admit that she wanted to do the same. It's going to be an event that is more on the funnier side, kinda because I want to show what kind of people the twins are. I think I already made this comparison, but they're a good mix of Lina and Yukiko.

And I think thats it for now. It's kinda insane it has been almost 2 years since the last My New Memories update dropped... But I'm really confident that this time will not increase that much anymore. Like I said a few times, I have a plan in mind if this is going to take longer than the personal deadline I made for myself. It's going to be the hardest thing I ever had to do, but if there is no other way, I'll do it. I don't want to make you guys keep waiting forever just because I want to wait longer. But more on that on another time. Until then, stay awesome, people!

Another week, another progress update!

Work on the next prequel beta has been going very good, I feel like I'm finally getting closer to get that huge "plot twist" in the end into the story. I think you remember that I mentioned that he MC is invited to dinner with Lea and Katharina, something very unusual. Well, if you decided to pursue a relationship with Lea, they will have a longer talk in the living room ( like you can see in todays render ) about Katharina acting kinda weird lately. And it's not only in regards to her wanting to teach the MC certain things, it's something different that they noticed in general. They think back to a few years ago and realise that it's not only Katharina that was acting weirder lately, Bethany was doing the same. They both have no idea what is going on though, and Katharina had a very weird request for the MC and Lea ( which they will listen to for now ), and they're also trying to figure that one out. It's all kinda nebelous in this event but as Chapter 2 progresses, it's going to get clearer and clearer. You know me, I like to drop hints that you will eventually all get it before the end of this chapter drops. Just think of Rei, it was pretty obvious from the get go, right? It will be kinda like that in the end.

Now with this plot twist in mind, I was thinking if I should do something similar in Chapter 4 again. But I feel like with the ultimate event happening at the end of Chapter 3, I'll tone it down there, at least for one Chapter. There is going to be an announcement there in the end, but it won't be as big, I think. I want to fully focus on the MC getting to deepen his relationship with certain girls. Especially the start of the more interesting events with Lina, for example. Of course they are all distracted with Anna being awake again, but that doesn't mean that the things they started will just be put on ice. So while the MC and Lina will go for a longer walk ( think of the event with Sarah outside ) and talk about this and that, the topic of them being more ... Let's say, open with their feelings for each other, comes up. Now that the MC remembers everything ( all the clues that Anna also dropped in his dreams with her ), he is not as hesitant anymore, but still makes sure that Lina is comfortable with all of it. I've never written these kind of relationships before so I hope I can make it as wholesome as I usually do. I always want the girls to initiate the next steps so it doesn't become "Creepy" or the MC becomes too pushy. You can really look forward to Pebbles being not as shy anymore, though ( unlike Yukiko who will try to act brave but then fails in a super cute way in the end ).

And I feel like thats it for now. The only reply I got from my lawyer ( who wanted to get an update on the case file before easter ) is that he didn't get anything from the state attorney yet. But he continues to pressure them ( I have proofs of that, the state attorney is just not doing anything right now ). If anything new comes out of this, I'll let you guys know. Stay awesome, like usual!

Another week, another progress update!

I made some great progress on the script for the second beta of Chapter 2, which will most likely release this month. I'm happy that the "new" change I made where the betas are smaller ( but still as big as a MNF Beta ) really helped me in getting more of a good writing and rendering flow again. This will be the beta that ends the first "day" of the second chapter. After you had dinner with Katharina and Lea ( and Katharina asking you for something very weird ), you have a longer talk with Lea about this and that - with also some more subtle foreshadowing that there might be a big reveal at the end of this chapter. The two will also talk about their current relationship and how things might progress. Once you're home, Bethany ( as you can see in the render ), will have a longer talk with you as well, where she will mention this and that and ask you a few questions you didn't know you had to answer. I want to keep it more casual and relaxed, like usual, and then the MC will go to bed and sleep. Just...Ah, no, I'm not going to spoil that. You'll see it when you play it ( and as a supporter, that will be this month most likely !). I'm also going to add a beta branch to Steam soon, but I don't have figured out how much content I'm going to add there.

So while I mainly have the big reveal at the end of chapter 2 in mind for the prequel, I'm also looking into some interesting plots I can work out in the main game. You probably remember Lisa, the girl from the hotel, right? Well, the MC tells Anna all about what they did and Anna is very interested to hear more about this. As you know she has this certain kink regarding the MC, and when he reveals that he wasn't really inactive while she was in a coma, she's going to suggest a few things they could do. Anna likes to spice things up a little and cause some... Let's say, funny drama. I don't want to get into too much detail, but you guys will either hate it or find it as funny as it was writing this part. Don't forget, my games are never about the drama or stuff like that, that's why I called it funny drama. Anna is a prankster after all, right? Crazy Germans, I'm telling you. Oh, there is also going to be some news that Lena will drop casually on the side that will change things up a lot, I got a few flashbacks to Fiona regarding that. Not going to spoil more, though.

And I think thats it for now! Sorry that this is not a longer progress update, but I'm really interested to hear your feedback once this second beta for the prequel is done! If I can keep up this workflow then Chapter 2 will release way sooner than I expected! Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games, like usual these last few weeks.

I'm preparing all the renders for the next part of the prequel Beta and I feel like I finally reached a point where the "big story twist" will make sense. It took a lot of thinking, especially regarding the main game and that nothing was mentioned there, but that actually played into my hands. I won't go into detail but once you play this part of the prequel, you might start to wonder what could have happened. I think I already talked about the fact that the MC is invited to have dinner with Lea and Katharina and that Katharina asks something of them ( if you started the relationship with Lea, that is ). Todays render is a short moment before they have this talk, where Lea is blushing a little because they talk about last night. Anyway, after this event you will have a talk with Bethany where she will act... Strange. She is not like she usually is and that is because she received some news. She is not really ready to share it yet because it will need more confirmation, but still, the MC is very confused. During this talk you will also get the chance to share with her who Rei's cousin is - And I highly recommend you make that choice. This second beta will end with something I planned for a while, the MC will have a dream and...Ah, you'll see what I do there once you play it! I'm still trying my best to release the beta this week, my guess is the weekend!

The prequel was of course not the only thing I worked on, but my work on the main game is causing a bit of distress right now. The fact that I don't have access to my characters is always there, but sometimes it bothers me more than other times, so it kinda impacts my ability to write for it. That is when I usually start to write more for My New Family 2. Yes, the game is already in development and while I mainly write for it now ( since I still haven't fully decided what I will use to make the renders ), I have a good idea on what I want to present to you in a first release. I want the game to be something people can enjoy no matter if you played the first one or not, but of course if you are a MNF enjoyer you will get a lot more out of it. There's going to be some fun stuff early on regarding Sandra, Alice, Lucy and the MC. The dynamic they have in the first game will continue in the second, with Lucy and the MC making Alice and Sandy sometimes roll their eyes because of the things they do and say. Let's just say that them having a tenant now just means that there is one more person to join the little cat and stupid pelican. And yes, I will release My New Family 2 this year.

That is something I will talk about in another post that is dedicated to that. I know that I have drastically slowed down how much I put out in terms of releases and content and the person that hates it the most is myself. The criticism I get for it is totally valid and I will do my best to make it up to you guys. I'm not going to put empty promises here and seek for excuses, I will own up to my mistakes and like I said a few times, it's totally fair if you decide to not stick around and/or support me anymore. The last thing I want for anyone that plays or played my games is that they support someone they think is not doing enough. Like I said, this is totally valid, so please don't attack people that say stuff like this.

Another month, another week, another progress update!

As some of you may have noticed I was able to release the second beta for My New Memories: The Beginning yesterday. If you were a $15 or higher tier supporter in the month of May, but decided to stop supporting for June ( or it just ran out in May ), send me a message and I'll provide you with the links. My plan was to release it in May so if you were supporting in may, you will be able to play it! $5 and higher tier will be able to play on friday and Steam will follow as well!

This beta contains one rather unique event compared to what I did in any of my games, so if you get the chance to play it, please don't hesitate to share your feedback! Todays progress update render is Sabrina though, who has a talk with the MC before they all go to bed ( If you decided to pursue Lea you will of course sleep with both of them again ). During the day, Sabrina and Lea noticed something weird regarding Bethany and Katharina. They are very concerned since it seems like Bethany received some news that rather shook her up, compared to Katharina who apparently also received some news and who seems rather happy about it. This is all going to lead into something I will reveal at the end of this prequel Chapter, which will most likely surprise all of you. It took me quite some time to figure out how I can do this so it will make sense for the main game as well, I had so many different scenarios in my mind and I think I finally came up with one that makes the most sense. You'll see what I mean with the next Beta as well, since I will do what I always did, provide you with hints so that you will still be surprised at the end, but you can also say "Oh, I knew that."

While I added the final touches to the second Beta, I also put a lot of effort into the Main Game again. So you probably remember what happened with Bethany at the end of Chapter 3. I also mentioned that even though she said something different, deep inside her heart she probably wants to continue what her and the MC started. It's not easy for her though, and something from the prequel will play into this talk. You know how I write my MCs, he is never pushy but he stands firm with what he wants. Bethany tries to convince him that those feelings are wrong, but ends up stumbling upon her own words. With some encouragement that the MC got from Anna I think it's time for her to embrace fully what they started. What do you think?

And I feel like thats it for now. Lately, my mental health has not been that good again because My lawyer and I are still being ignored by the state attorney(s) of my city, it seems like. All requests have been unanswered and we feel like pressuring them with more will only lead to more silence. But we'll figure something out. It's been over 1 1/2 years already and while investigating data can take up to 2 years in Germany, I didn't have that much data to look through to begin with. I'll keep you guys posted on this.
