Another week, another month, another year, another progress update!

All I can say for now is...Wow. I don't think I can put in words how much it means to me that you amazing people gave so much positive feedback on the first chapter of the My New Memories prequel. Trust me, I was more nervous than ever before regarding this release because I wasn't sure if you guys could end up enjoying this game as a "bridge" until I can work full time on the main game again. But you guys blew it out of the park and I'm so extremely happy that you guys loved playing the first chapter so much.

This means that there will be at least a chapter 2 and possibly more, I guess! While my focus is now more shifting towards My New Family 2, I also have a bigger focus on the next prequel chapter - especially with the huge reveal at the end. Todays render shows what happens after that, because as you know, Sabrina and the MC share a special connection and she knew that something happened that send the MC into a turmoil. He's going to have a longer talk with her while Rei is spending some time with Lea, since she cleverly invited her over to her house to check something out. There were so many ways I wanted to go with that reveal and I think I found one that makes the most sense. I can't spoil too much here but I really hope ( again ) that you guys will think the same. Keep in mind that the MC didn't see Anna for quite a long time already and now this happened, while he is head over heels in love with Rei. It's going to be difficult but the MC and Sabrina will come to the same conclusion. And like I said, I hope you guys will think this is the right direction as well!

Now with the big reveal happening at the end of the first prequel chapter, you can probably guess who the first girl of the prequel will be that also appears in the main game. Anna and the MC will have a casual talk about these things and I'm still going to do it in a way that even if you didn't play the prequel, you will know what's up. This is something I'm enjoying so much right now, weaving the prequel characters into the main game so that you can all enjoy them in the future.

I also worked a little bit on My New Family 2 again, but I'm more or less hunting for assets right now. I'm also looking for a person that can import the My New Family 1 house, that is in Honey select 1, to Honey Select 2. Let me know if you know someone!

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again, shall we?

Over the last week I got a lot more feedback regarding My New Memories: The Beginning and the overall majority of you amazing people made it very clear that you want more of it, way more than I imagined. And I can promise you that I will deliver that, no matter what. Initially I really thought most of you would say "Okay, this is nice, make it a quick little thing and as soon as you can work on the main game fully again, switch over and end the prequel" but after I read all the messages and comments I got since releasing it and you guys being able to fully play the first chapter, I think differently now. So I can promise you more content for the prequel regardless of the status of the main game - At least after I released Chapter 4 for the main game. That doesn't mean there won't be a Chapter 2 for the prequel before that, it just means that if I can work on the main game fully again, I will finish Chapter 4 before releasing another chapter for the prequel. I hope that makes sense. Todays render is Bethany in the living room, shortly after Rei left to do something with Amelie. The MC tells her what he learned about Rei and who her cousin is and it will leave Bethany just as speechless as you might think she is on the picture. Still, as the loving mother that she is, she just knows what to say and do and the MC will most likely follow her advice. You will know what I mean when you play it but I don't want to make the whole of Chapter 2 just about the MC thinking even more about Anna. I personally think you will like what I'll do there, or at least I hope so.

Since the release of the prequel update I also worked more on the main game again than I used to, which I really like. I read a few comments of people that were concerned about all the prequel girls eventually appearing in the main game and that the cast will get too convoluted in the end. I don't want this to sound like empty words so all I can say is that these girls will appear over a longer period of time, not in a super fast manner. I want to make it as organic as possible and while you will hear them being mentioned from time to time ( mainly when the MC talks to Anna, Sabrina and Lena since the other girls don't really know who they are ), but it will take some time for all of them to appear. The first one will most likely be Rei and that won't be until Chapter 5, for example. And I will still do my best to give all the girls as much screentime as possible and I think I found a decent way of doing so already in the main game ( which has a lot of girls already ). So all I'm asking is to trust me on this, I'm confident I can pull it off.

Regarding My New Family 2 I have more stuff to share soon, like I said earlier it will most likely depend what you guys think about the girls I show you that I made in Honey Select 2 if I end up using it or not. I'm happy with sticking to honey select 1 ( the engine I used to make MNF1 graphics ) or switch over to Honey Select 2, so it won't be an issue to let you guys decide. More on that soon, though.

And I think thats it for this week. I hope you guys think I'm doing the right thing regarding the prequel and that I want to make "more" out of it. If anything comes up I'll let you guys know. Stay awesome!

They way I figure it, once Killer7 gets his assets back from the German Police, he'll tie up the prequel with Anna reuniting with the MC in University. Then in the main game, a reminiscing flashback of sorts.

Due to a situation outside the Devs control (was accused of a crime that did NOT happen by someone who has fled from REAL crimes) the files needed to continue the base game are currently not available. There are hopes that they will become available, but because of this it was decided to do a prequel while waiting instead of trying to rebuild ALL the models. The other site (and killer's Discord) has more detailed information if you want it.

Another week, another progress update! Sorry, a little later than usual today!

Let's jump right into the games!

I'm making some good progress on the next prequel Chapter again and I'm still amazed by the fact that so many of you amazing people want more and frequent chapters for it. Really, I didn't expect this when I first started making the prequel, so seeing you guys enjoying it so much is a huge relief. Todays render is Jackie, sitting in the living room and talking to the MC. Of course he had to tell her about the "nuke" that Rei dropped, and she also has some good advice regarding the whole situation. Like I said last week, the MC is not the super confident Man he is in the main game ( or rather, which he will be in the main game again now that he got his memories back ), so he's scared to mess things up with Rei when he mentions what this reveal did to him. Especially since he doesn't know why Anna never mentioned the MC, Sabrina and the others. Maybe talking about it hurt her too much? Or she wanted to let Rei see for herself if she can spot them. It would make sense, right? Anna not being worried that her cousin ends up in the same city, not even mentioning that the love of her life is living there and literally going to the same uni as Rei. There has to be a reason for that and I think with time, we will find out what it is. I can promise you it's not something bad, but it's also the same thing why the MC never mentioned Anna towards Rei ( or towards Amelie later on ).

Okay, let's talk about the main game and something that I read today on a certain site that ends with a 9. The game got the abandoned tag there and I was thinking about releasing a small "snippet" to Chapter 4, let's say, you have a scene with Sabrina alone in her apartment where you talk about this and that, maybe mention the accident and what happened in the hospital... And then they start to talk about something that happened in the past. Between the two of them. Maybe something lewd, even. And then I could transition this scene into part of the prequel, giving you a glimpse of something you might see in Chapter 2. I think you know where I'm going with this. You basically have current Sabrina and the MC having a talk, then they talk about something they did in the past and it intertwines both games. What do you guys think about that? It would be something you will see in Chapter 4 again once it releases, and I won't make it as painful in terms of stuff they talk about regarding Anna. Let's say this would last 10-15 minutes... Would you guys like that? A small refresher with Sabrina and then a transition into the prequel, including a bit of lewdness. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! I know that Chapter 4 is basically the biggest hype right now, so this would be a very very small snippet of what you can expect there. Like I said, share your thoughts in the comments or send me a DM etc!

And I think that's it for now. Not much to report regarding My New Family 2, I kinda hit a frustrating wall there with character creation again ( I will get over it tonight, don't worry ). Please tell me what you guys think about the idea I posted above! And if anything comes up I'll let you guys know ( I'm still waiting for my lawyer, he should come back to me soon with an update on the case, since he requested an update on the case files in december 2024 ). Another week, another progress update!

I'm going to be honest, I did not expect so many different reactions regarding the idea to release a "snippet" of Chapter 4. I guess I didn't really communicate what I meant with it as well, so here is my idea more thought out than it was last week.

My idea was that you basically download this version, load your savegame and then I will tell you (ingame) that you're about to play one event that happens on the first day of Chapter 4, an event that involves Sabrina. Of course they are going to talk about what happened on this day in general ( Anna, the Jessica situation, Karla and the twins arriving ) but they'll also talk a lot about themselves, their first experiences together after what happened with Lea in the prequel etc. This snippet will last around 15 minutes I'd say, you will get some nice refreshing info on what is currently going on in Chapter 4 through dialogues ( I know this can be evil as well since you want to see the full chapter right away ) and you also get to see Sabrina in her "current form" again. During this talk you will get a longer scene that will actually happen in the next prequel Chapter as well - So you basically get two previews in one game, if that makes sense. At the end of this I'll make sure you get redirected to a proper point to save the game and then once Chapter 4 releases, you will start where you are supposed to start. I'm not doing this only to not have my game marked as "abandoned" or anything, I also feel like releasing something like this might put some minds at ease that have been waiting for almost 2 years to see something about the main game again. Todays render is actually part of this event, by the way. Wha do you think? Is this something you would want to do? This will be a one time event as well, I will never release a snippet like this again and will just provide full chapters to the public ( supporters will still get to play each day of course ).

I also put a decent amount of work into the next prequel chapter and My New Family 2 again. I'm going to be honest with you guys, seeing all the positive feedback after I released the prequel really put my mind at ease by such a huge amount, it's not even funny. I was worried sick that you guys would not like it or think it's a waste of time so I'm super happy that I can continue to provide future chapters. I'm currently not one hundred percent sure if I will release "a lot" of chapters after I can fully work on the main game again, I feel like that is something you guys will decide on your own when you played the next chapter. My New Family 2 on the other hand is going to be an interesting thing on its own. I kinda want to make it so even if you have never played MNF, you can still start with MNF2 if you want. Given the nature of the relationships in the game it can be kinda funny to see people jump into this one right away since usually those games all evolve around the fact that these relationships just started to form. And the release for the first MNF2 chapter might be sooner than you think!

And I think thats it for now. If anything new comes up or if I hear anything regarding my files, I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!

Went to the cops, blamed it on Killer7, and then fled to Thailand. Killer7's hardware for making the game was seized by the cops, including the external ssd backups of all the Daz3d assets/models. As I understand it, it eventually became two different cases: the first one instigated by the perpetrator where Killer7 was blamed, and a second one where Killer7 was among the victims/witnesses. The second one is over I think (Killer7 not in trouble, other perps were caught, main perp is still hiding in Thailand), but the first one is essentially just "Investigate Killer7" and is still ongoing maybe; main investigator is seemingly desperate to find something incriminating on Killer7's hard drives. Probably wants some sort of win after of the crypto scam stuff where the (main) criminal escaped justice.

I'm making amazing progress on the little "snippet" I want to release for Chapter 4 and I can say that you will get a decent amount of playtime out of this. I can also 100% confirm that it will release this month, probably a few days earlier for supporters and after that it will release for everyone. I might release it on Steam as well, not 100% sure, I will see what the community over there thinks about it. Length wise it will probably be like a day in My New Family, most likely a little longer, I'm aiming for like 15-20 minutes. Like I said, this is only a super super tiny part of Chapter 4 but I feel like getting some time with Bethany and Sabrina in the current time where they talk about the things that happened will be good. And don't forget the little "flashback" moment you will have with Sabrina which will also be featured in the prequel. I don't know, my thoughts on doing this are more positive than negative especially since it has been such a long time since you got time with Bethany and Sabrina in My New Memories. I hope you will come to the same conclusion once you play it! Todays render is actually Bethany in Sabrinas apartment, shortly before she leaves to give the two some time alone. Keep in mind that this is still only one day after the MC got attacked and Anna woke up, so they will talk about it since its very fresh.

I also put a decent amount of time into the next prequel chapter. I feel like the start of the romance with Rei and Lea is just the beginning for the MC. While the shock of who Rei really is still sits deep in him, he also has to make sure that Lea will get updated on this. She knows about the feelings the MC has for Anna and even though Anna and Lea didn't interact much with each other, they're still friends. Since Lea is also the first love interest you interact on an intimate level with, she'll be the one who encourages you to not hide your feelings for other women, as you can imagine. Still, the MC is uncertain how to proceed after getting to know who Rei's cousin is, since he really wants to talk to her again but also doesn't know what she thinks about him or if she even forgot him. These are all things he can talk about with Bethany, Lea and Sabrina, but not Rei, at least initially. He doesn't know how she'll react if she finds out that his soulmate is her cousin - Something that will also be relevant for the main game, once Rei appears there. I'm not going to spoil too much in that regard, but Rei will just be as important as the three gingers during later chapters of the main game.

I have more news regarding My New Family 2 as well, which will 100% release this year , just like the next chapter of My New Memories: The Beginning will release. As soon as I have my rendering assets back I can also release Chapter 4 of My New Memories in a faster way than you might think - I'm around 1/3 finished with the script and it will be long. Way longer than Chapter 3. I'm doing my best, despite all the stuff that is going on in my life with this stupid investigation and potential court case against me, to get back to my initial form.

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again!

I'm at the half point of the little snippet I wanted to release, where the MC is talking to Sabrina ( in the main game ). I feel like this talk will be pretty important for the two of them in general, mainly because of all the things that happened during the day - Like Karla and the twins arriving and of course the very important event with Jessica before. With the MC having his memories back and Sabrina realising a lot of things, they will finally be able to talk about Manny as well. Sabrina went through a lot of emotions regarding him, Karla and the twins and her hostile attitude towards them has been slowly but surely fading. You know I'm all about characters kinda "redeeming" themselves and even though it's too late for Sabrina and Manny to make up, she can still redeem herself regarding Karla and the twins. As I said a few times, these three will become a core part of the household. Having the two talk about all these things, including prior events ( which will lead to the "flashback" ) will deepen their relationship even more than it already was - Even if you didn't want to romance her. Of course there will also be some light hearted moments but overall this talk will be more emotional, as you can see in the render, the MC is hugging Sabrina ( I tried my best to recreate the MC but he now has a more prominent beard, this will just be for the snippet most likely and I will change those renders once I have my MC back. )

Speaking of Sabrina and the MC, after the events that happened during the night with Lea, Sabrina will start to open up regarding a lot of things - And the MC too. Remember, my intend for the prequel was to show how the MC became the man he is in the main game and who helped him to achieve that. Since his first intimate relationship started with Lea, the best friend of Sabrina, he is very unsure how this will affect the household he is living in with her. It's going to be funny for the most part, but I also think that Sabrina might get a little emotional when she has thoughts that go in the direction of "What if he leaves with her" etc. You know me, I like to make it somewhat corny and cheesy sometimes, with a lot of wholsome hugging.

Speaking of wholesome hugging, I also have a good idea regarding a cute little event in My New Family 2 that I had on my mind. Like I said a few times, it's such an interesting case for me to basically make a game where "all" the lewding already happened - The MC is married to a lot of women, and the "tenants" are also there already. I'm sure theres plenty of games out there who did something like that already, but I want to try to give it my own take. Let's just say that the MC stays how he is - He never pushes any of the girls in his direction but waits and see how they react. Though there might be a girl that will be in a similar situation like Alice was when she joined the household - In terms of feelings for the MC and the MC being a stupid pelican.

And I feel like that's it for now, people. Sadly nothing new to report yet and I'm really starting to lose my mind here. I hope that february will bring somewhat decent news, if anything happens I'll let you guys know. Stay awesome!
