Chapter 2
While I would have preferred this would be an announcement for Chapter 4 of the main game, I still hope that you guys will enjoy this update regardless. It contains everything - Wholesome moments, funny moments, emotional moments and of course sprinkled with a bunch of lewds! I hope the length of this chapter makes up for the wait, you will learn a lot of new things about every girl in the game and you will also start to pursue new relationships if you decide to do so!
Chapter 1
Initial F95 release

Spoiler: Dev Notes

This is a story heavy visual novel. If you don't like to read a lot, this is not the game for you. The game will always be more story than lewds, so if you want to go for a quick wank, this game is also not for you.
Also, all the characters you will meet in the game will eventually be lewdable.
Reasons why the Developer started to work on this Prequel.

Demo:
The Demo of My New Memories: The beginning has been released. It is the prequel to this game.

Please keep in mind that this demo only represents around 1/4th of the first full release. It's missing animations, but you will see some lewd stuff already. All of the missing things will be in the full release that should be out soon(ish). Please don't hesitate to share your feedback in the MNM channels below, though. Also, saves you make in this version WONT carry over to the final release, so keep that in mind.

Really, if you have any feedback, share it with me, be it positive or negative. This is a "new" game after all and I need all the feedback I can get. Also, if you want to play a little more, the second day of the prequel is out for $5 and higher tier supporters!

Be warned. There are some bugs if you choose the bad options(Not asking a girl out, not staying with a girl, etc). - Mr. Tearson

Excellent! Been looking forward to this prequel while the main story is getting updated!

[Buddy]

I'm happy to see more work by Killer 7.
I'm glad to still see Sabrina.

[rogokin]

Why make a prequel when the base game hasn't had a release in over a year? Don't get me wrong I'm happy to get any content I like this series.

Due to a situation outside the Devs control (was accused of a crime that did NOT happen by someone who has fled from REAL crimes) the files needed to continue the base game are currently not available. There are hopes that they will become available, but because of this it was decided to do a prequel while waiting instead of trying to rebuild ALL the models. The other site (and killer's Discord) has more detailed information if you want it.

Hope that helps

I think it seems odd too. I would rather see the first game to a conclusion before this one was started. Now there are two games awaiting updates.

Nice incest, got potential, keep it up

Hoping this doesn't slow down development of the actual game :/

See the below answer posted 5 hours before you made your post. There is no development on the "actual game", so the Dev made this in the meantime.

Yeah. It's really fucked up how things have gone for him. Even having to be registered into a "crime database" or whatever when you haven't actually done anything.
The justice system in Germany is really fucked up and might be even worse than Sweden's. Although the punishments in Germany tend to be more severe.

Either way, I have mad respect for Killer7 compared to most devs. He's always, even before the "drama", been open with progress and such.

[GingerbreadMan]

Just begin, no content

it's called a demo for a reason - doesn't even have a thread yet on a certain other site because this is no release

I think it seems odd too. I would rather see the first game to a conclusion before this one was started. Now there are two games awaiting updates.

If you read his updates on the main game's page, he is still writing the story for the main game (also writing the story for My New Family 2), but can't work on the visual side since his hard drives were confiscated.

As luck would have it, some of the characters were sent to other devs as cameos for their games and he was able to get some of the characters back, but not all (mainly MC's sisters and mom). Hence the prequel without a majority of the characters.

It's been over a year since he was accused of crypto scamming by someone else who did the crime and fled the country and his hard drives are still in police lock up. He's petitioned to get his hard drives back, but the bureaucracy in Germany is slowing things down.

He stated before that some of the characters he's introducing in the prequel will show up in the main game and once he gets all of his assets back, he'll be able to finish the prequel (MC's wife was one of the characters that he's missing).

Think of this game as an interlude to the main game where we get to experience some of the memories that the MC lost. We get to see how the MC's personality was before the accident that wiped out his memory and, when the dev gets his hard drives back, how he meets up with his wife in college.

Thankyou for the update.
And a big thankyou to killer7 like a lot of people out there we love your games.
Can't wait for more.

Well, this is what "shit happens" really means.. damn...!

[killeronfun]

I dont know why the developer is doing that but whatever. The game is looking good. Good quality. But the rest is kinda meh. Try it yourself.
