I had mixed feelings about this instead of sticking with the MC the switch instead of letting me reap the rewards of all the hard work and coming up with a way to continue the story they curveball into something else. It should have been a different game. This one is a hard pass renders are great sure, however this is a story running around like a chicken with no head. Save your time and avoid this the grind isn't worth it.

I'm not against the grind, but the story is getting too long. Gradually, interest begins to lose, alas.

The problem I see with this Dev's games is that they tend to have to many ladies. For myself I would have been happy had we only had the three 'Sisters' and maybe 2-3 extras at most. As it is we have to deal with so many characters that it's easy to forget who is doing what.
The 'best friend's Daughter' games were nice because we had a limited number of ladies in a relatively limited area. We knew who was involved and could figure out what was needed for each. With each new character and environment/area it gets easier to get lost.
Just a thought.

Chapter 1 is impossible to complete. Three events don't count as completed (two with Lynn's bathroom, one with Lina's room). How to get around these bugs?
There was also a game crash "KeyError: '1030'" during one of the Eve events.

It has been a while since I've done the early chapters, but I remember that there were issues like this in several chapters. My memories are that there was an option to skip to the next chapter and we needed to use that to advance/complete parts of the game several times. There may be other options for completing parts with this issue, but I don't remember them.

Does the developer give a shit about bugs in his game and the impossibility of completing it without skipping content? 31 episodes have already been made, and the bugs in the first one still haven't been fixed.

I like the girls, I like the setting. Just the damn progression is extremely bothersome. I do like it there is a sense of progress in the scenes, and though I'm unsure how to improve it. Maybe a kind of ongoing corruption check within the scenes. But I do understand the path of no return, and changes this far in development is a waste of time. I just hope other devs in their own games will improve upon evolving scenes.

A few months ago the developer updated some of the older chapter packs of the game to fix some of the bugs, but some of them remained. Generally, for 1-8 and 9-18(?) you really need URMx52 or at least have the console anbled.
There are some python stuff you can run in the shell to detect and fix things. Some of the issues can be solved by just finding the actual trigger, since the ingame hint tells you the wrong day. Other things require a patched version of the file, or Unrenpy so you can do it yourself - this is relevant to the 20 events where you have the truth or dare session for example.
Later on, even if the hints are wrong you should know the "pattern" by now so you can complete the 'checkpoint' without relying on the hint system.
Early version of the game also have a secret hint button in the lower left corner you can click to see which bookmarks you haven't done. This includes those that are toggles as "hidden" using the top right menu.
But yea. Get URMx52 and enable the console.
Then try.

how slow or grindy is this? is the payoff good? how the sex scenes ?

It really depends. The games are corruption based but I would say the payoff is worth it, he even went a bit overboard on chapter 25 with the number of scenes , but considering you've been pining along since chapter 19 for it I guess it was a nice reward.
chapter 26+ he added some AI animations that ssome people for some reason dislike, a lot of them are really good and also included a "profile" page with lots of extra animations for each of the girls. (32 even added an option to disable them, for some reason...)
The scenes with AI are really good, the normal ones were a few frames but the models used are very good looking so it works.
The biggest issue I guess a lot of people have had with the game are some of the bugs that leads to missed checkpoints and not being able to complete the chapter noramlly, the early game you can just press 'skip chapter' to get to the next one and the hint system has become beter.
The other games in the universe have a far quicker "pay-off" and its all part of the same 'Bob' universe, so you might as well play them all.

Rather, it is based on the mental retardation of the characters.
Events in the game world take _years_ to unfold within each game, whereas in real life they would take days.
Who in real life says one line and then waits a day to say another?
Why do you have to wait until the next day to call someone every time?
It all feels so unrealistic, stupid, and too slow that it feels like the characters are mentally ill.
In the real world, life and youth are very short, and wasting them on pointless "long-term thoughts" and "I'll wait" is foolish. Anyone's life can end at any moment for a multitude of reasons, so you need to make the most of every opportunity.
A few days are enough to seduce any girl.
With mind control techniques, minutes or even seconds are enough (It depends on what technique you use).
This game is addictive only because of the beautiful renders with excellent posing, but organization of events is terrible. Especially in some episodes where you have to repeat the same events 5 times each without changes, and where the Ctrl key is disabled. How could such a thing even come to mind?
