open the game (blackscreen) delete the savefolde (complete) delete logfile in gamesfolder close game start new worked by me

Did you remove the save folder inside Renpy as well ? C: -> user -> AppData -> Roaming -> RenPy then delete Mydaughterforever.

Y'all with the black screen, try changing the renderer. Shift-A to bring up the accessibility menu in game, its one of the options in there. There's also a way to start the game forcing a different renderer but I don't know how offhand.

If it's after start, did you try waiting a bit or just click past it? The game starts with a black screen, so there were a few ppl reporting black screen bugs (including me ). But we were just confused with how the game started.
The game should start with black screen, then you get a prompt to name the characters, then the first screen with a cute butt of a sleepy red head.

If not. Make sure you delete the game and the save folder that's in the "C: -> user -> AppData -> Roaming -> RenPy" that sharkz mentioned. Then install the game fresh.
If not, it could be the renders Naps-On-Dirt mentioned. Or you could have an outdated codec (if your computer is really old).

If it's none of that, I could help send your message to the discord. If they have not already seen this.

But, you hold shift while double-clicking the .exe
And make sure to hold shift down until the game starts. Then you can choose which renderer that you want RenPy to use.

The renders were great, I really liked the new characters, especially the ice cream seller and the dog owner... I hope the next update doesn't take so long. Thanks.
Houston.... we have a problem. Before installing the gallery unlocker, two pages appeared in the Gallery, although they did not open. After installing the unlocker, only one page appears? The old gallery from the previous version. I also had to play everything again, from the beginning, and nothing new in the gallery.

the gallery unlocker isn´t update to the 0.6 version, for that not unlick the new scenes , u need to play the new content or wait for a update the unlocker
