You'd think most devs by now wouldn't even bother with any sort of porn if money was the goal since not even 1% of them make more than US minimum wage after the time is factored in for that sub money unless they are talented and attractive camera whores willing to cater to any possible fetish (including incest and age play as well as bestiality, scat, and water sports). He was probably simply in some shit hole country and either the law caught up with him or he got worried enough about it to quit, as he was part of that 99%+ that made peanuts anyway (< $2/hr like most) so arguably didn't even need a payment platform since it wouldn't have made much difference. Of all games Google Play slop is where most of the money ($60B/yr/+, probably several thousand times more than all AVNs combined) is being spent by the world's rich morons that don't mind blowing kilobucks every month either on a "free" game or playing what amounts to a spending contest masquerading as a pvp game or what's essentially an online casino with those "slots games" that pay you sometimes. Might as well replace Python with Kotlin and make those if money is the goal.

Someone used a compromised account and a webhook to spam announcements in Ronovan discord a Mod managed to get rid of the compromised account and stop the spam but the server no longer has an Admin so they can't fix it

Yeah dunno why when devs quit they don't delete their Discord as well to prevent shit like that. I also dunno why people stay subbed to useless Discords with inactive/dead/retired devs/AVNs. I left the server the day after he essentially said "fuck this game" years ago way back when he originally quit supposedly out of frustration over lack of HS2 assets and lack of foresight/planning.

There should be a way to freeze a discord, so people still have access to past posts without deleting it. Or maybe lock it so only manually authorized people can post.

I stayed in the server hoping he'd return but since the server no longer has an Admin it's just a static target the mods can't delete the server so it'll just remain

Yeah, but I was asking him for a link to an old update to a game that isn't even for this thread so I figured I'd ask him and not report it as a dead link. Mind you, I should've sent him a DM instead of replying here but I'm just now thinking about it in hindsight. I'll report it next time
