For those interested. The FIX for the rope and camera not appearing in the shop is as follows.

• Reinstall/extract a fresh unaltered version of the game (can be compressed).
• Load your save (ideally in the shop)
• Buy the rope and camera as it will be there now.
• Exit
• Run your altered version (with added content)
• Load new save.
• Continue playing !

This issue seems to be the result of the mod that adds back in the removed content.
