It was probably once one of the most popular games for many players, but unfortunately dev's behavior and approach to his own game caused many players to quickly start hating this game more than loving it.
But despite everything after many years this game was finally finished and of course although ending of this game leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion it is probably still better that this game have any ending than that the game would never be finally finished.

It had so much potential but then there was one delay after another with .... excuses. When the ending was released, after what felt like years, it was so dissapointing because the storylines where cut pretty short compared to the development in the beginning.

Many successful games as of late are taking the Summertime Saga approach - milking for months without any substantial progress whatsoever. It's just the way to go when your game is making tens of thousands per month I guess.
