Haven't noticed anything missing that I can recall. The incest has become very *wink wink* though. God I hate this 'Landlady/Roommate' crap.

If you haven't played this at all, you certainly should. Even knowing that it will be frustrating to never see it coming to an end. You'd better even play the 0.7.1 version than the final version, which is an utter disappointment after years of waiting for an update. The waiting does not however diminish the quality of the game before The Long Wait.
