I actually thought it was pretty good despite a bit of grind and the story being meh, but then the game fumbled hard when you got to the payoff scenes with the LI's, it just felt rushed and they were disappointing imo.

The grind in sandbox makes it very long and boring.

Hey everyone,

I'm happy to announce our new game: Sunset Rose!​

It always takes a a long time to prepare a new game project for production. (Maybe that's why there are a lot of never ending games)
There are many new things happening behind the scenes!
So first of all, I talked about Project Aurora in a previous post. This is not that.
Sunset Rose is a new game that will feature Daniela (the blonde girl) and Catalina (the MILF) as the two main female characters.
The game will be an advancement on the sandbox type gameplay you know from Midnight Paradise, but it will be a lot more lighthearted and romance oriented game. No drug empire business this time around.
I'm excited to try new ways that are more fun for you and more efficient to make to be able to bring you the best and most amount of content we can!
Now you must be wondering how will I be able to juggle all these projects and the remaining MP content. Thankfully, I won't have to.
More artists have joined the team and I selected them based on their artistic skills on composition and quality. I think you guys will be very happy with the renders they will be making under my guidance for Sunset Rose.
I still take a part of the production and I always will for every game. But, since 90% of my time is consumed by creating the art for the games it's gonna be a lot easier to work on this. I will be taking more of a director role on this project. (I'm sure I won't be able to stop myself and make some juicy stuff with these two hot new ladies from time to time though)
I designed the characters myself by the way - it took me quite some time - I hope you like them as much as I do already!
Now that the prep work for Sunset Rose is almost done, I can get back to working on the MP Sandbox update with full steam. In the meantime, the new team members can start working on the first release of Sunset Rose.
I feel happy about having a new game on production at the same time while I'm doing content for Midnight Paradise. These two at the same time will mean more content for you guys more frequently!
And I still have 2 things up my sleeve that will be revealed soon. So stay tuned and thank you for your patience, I really appreciate you all!

Once of the first VN games I tried and it set the bar.... great models, decent (enough) plot... the "end" didn't really stick the landing though
