Can I just install the optional incest patch without the WT or the courteous mod? I just want to expand the content as far as it goes without taking anything away.

Also with how small the dark alternate game is, is it standalone or does it belong in the same main game's folder somehow?

As for the alternate dark story, yes it is standalone. Here's a post from the other site by Nefastus explaining why it exists and how it will rarely (if ever) get updates.

Appreciate the feedback, but need to clarify a few points.

This isn't really a "side project" that is starting. I saw I could reuse a lot of renders from MLC and twist it into a neat little version one that a friend/supporter would enjoy. I started writing a darker scene as a way to combat writers block. Someone gave me a tip once to just still write, but write on a different story. Stay creative and let the issue blocking you dissolve.

I enjoyed the writing, it's nice to step out of my comfort zone and will probably improve writing all around, but MLC is still my main focus. This project will continue, but more of a as I find time type thing. My plan is to continue writing it when not working on MLC, then once I get nearly a full update I'll run the renders and edit etc...

Once I sent it to my friend, he and a couple of others played it and thought I should release it to everyone. I just offered it here as a nice little diversion/treat, trying to get as much feedback as I can. It's not replacing the main game, and it won't be a "release one project then work on the next project until that's released etc..." like some devs with multiple games do. This will be a "release whenever the heck I think a full update is ready" type game. Will always be free when it releases, not trying to make money off it since it will be erratic releases, but if I am going to do the work anyway I figure why not share it.

They haven't been active anywhere from what I have read but they are still around as they were last seen Jan 16, 2024 on f95. Nothing posted on their discord. They haven't really talked about the game in more than 3 months. Their last patreon post was Dec 8th and they have gone silent for a while now. But from the looks of it this isn't the first time they have disappeared.

Ya, this game had a lot of interesting characters, which seems to be a somewhat rare quality in AVNs these days. Usually there's only 1 or 2 interesting characters, the rest just being hot meat warmers.

I hope for a return as well. I know that there have been a couple LONG gaps in the updates, but this one has me worried. DARN IT, the combination of humor, old music references and SEXY fun are GREAT. Here's hoping the for the best.

Cookies are AWESOME (especially Chocolate Chip), and Tiny Tina is a goddess. Sadly, it sounds like this isn't the only game with issues. Heard that there is bad stuff happening at Gear Box so we might not get more Tiny Tina content.

I just hope that NEF is OK and we get more updates. The scene with the Wife's friend was VERY good, and talking to the daughter was a BIG bonus. I want MORE.

Just a thought.

Yeah, things were kind of headed in a good direction to where the wife was getting there to be ok with him dating the other girls as she found out about them and was picking up a bit faster in the last update.
