Not sure what section this would go in, but has anyone else done the math for the higher prestige ranks? Or at least knows enough about math to tell if my calcs are right?
I got roughly 1 year and 26 days to go from 100lc to 230,000 assuming you are only doing the interest at 2% and getting it every day. Did i miss something or use the wrong formula? I treated it as though it were daily compound interest

As I'm not sure how many decimals the calculator here takes (and as for as I know the mods don't know either) it could take any value between 391 days (your asumption) and 405 days. But just interacting a couple of minutes every day will reduce that time drastically.

Oh i get that interaction would ramp it up massively, I was just curious if my math was on course or not, havent messed around with compound interest before and was mostly curious if it was infact that, or some other form of calculations even though i couldnt think of anything that came even close to fitting better, or if i missed something

my onine calculator says 9 months will net you 231996 now that is with out missing a day, I have missed at least 3 deposits because they updated the website and it did not recognize that I collected the interest but still made me wait 24 hours before I could collect again

the math and calculations I did were for assuming a starting value of 100 and getting the 2% of the total added daily, all feeding back into the starting value without other outside influences such as deposits from thread/post/comment/likes etc, the best i could get it down to was 391-392 days which is just shy of 13months

The interest is rounded to the nearest integer, so I get 393 days, not 391. But, yes, in principal, you're doing it right.

The excel function/formula is =round(target cell*0.02,0)

Think this depends on you.

Gotta remembers that they stack in the bank. Say you added 100 LCC, you're only going to get like... 1 back. So next, you'll add 101 to the bank. Still get 1, I think. But the next should give you 2. The math adds up each time you add it to the bank. So that 1 year could turn into 6 months. There's no true right answer here. And it's honestly just faster to bullshit with the boys and girls of the Lurker thread. You get all kinds of reactions. Especially if they truly like your post. Though, if nothing else, just donate to Heisenberg and gain some coins that way.

Apparently, if you deposit 100 coins daily, it will take 194 days. That’s ~6 months and a bit less than two weeks.

141 days if you deposit 300LC daily. About four and a half months.

Manual deposits are more valuable the earlier they happen. The easiest way to go about it would probably be to be extremely active for the first 1-2 months, then focus on just collecting interest for the rest and participating in discussions only as much as you feel like.

If you want to use a graphing calculator, it should probably be something like:

f(x) = f(x-1)*1.02 + 100

Wherein the "100" is how much you add each days. You may need to add that the starting the starting value is 100, or 0, or howevemuch you have in your bank.

Interest collection is manual and must be done each day. If you miss a day, or even a month or more, you will still only collect one day of interest when you come back to collect, and your collection time will change to the time of day you come back, with the next collection set for 24 hours later.

NEVER make your deposit or take a withdrawal before you collect your interest or everything resets. The system is a dumb system, not a smart or dynamic system, and will cheat you out of your interest if you touch it for any reason before you collect interest.
