Maybe this path was not continued in this version?
Open File Explorer, type %AppData% in the address bar and press Enter. (C:\Users\<username>\AppData)
You had to copy not only the games themselves but also the saves from your old PC (from %APPDATA%/RenPy).
For Family Faring I don't see an update only...so just in case I'll note that you need to unpack it not into the folder with the old version, but into a separate folder. Since you didn't...
Issue 1: It's hard to understand what you mean. Try to write in more detail, with an example. Maybe with screenshots. What game exactly?
Issue 2: For RenPy you need to copy the saves to a new drive. You can find your saves folder here:
Linux: ~/.renpy
Mac: ~/Library/RenPy
Windows: %APPDATA%/RenPy
Yeah sure:LOL:
I don't open galleries to see how much content I've missed and rarely try to take a different path or get a different ending. I usually play the way I want, make the choices I like. For me it's more interesting than when the game is very linear (or playing with a walkthrough).
For renpy, you can easily create a linux version yourself. For this you need:
Find out the version of renpy. One of the options is to look in the game/script_version.txt file.
Download the required version of renpy SDK from the official website.
Unpack and add 'game' folder from the game...
