I don't read comics so I'm not really into either. But I like:
DC- Batman and Wonder woman. I have some Batman stuff.
Marvel- Hulk, Ironman, and Spider-man.

For movies I only liked iron man and dark knight, I couldn't really get into the 20 mcu movies that were so cgi heavy.

But I'd choose DC for Raven

DC is my choice, forever. I'm not saying that Marvel doesn't have great characters, storys and writers, but i like DC the most. Also... DC INVENTED the genre, that gotta give 'em some extra points.

For animated shows, DC, for everything else, Marvel.
Maybe DC wins in the games department, too, but my nostalgia wouldn't let me say it.

if its straight up avengers vs justice league, DC wins, as I really don't care for the avengers, and overall DC has more characters I enjoy, but the X-Men are my favorite overall superhero franchise/group/set of runs. Really don't touch much stuff from either anymore though, I don't care for where they've taken most of it, and I feel alot of the writing to be sub par

Thats such a vague question. In general I do not place one above the other but I do have some favorites.

Comic books.. In team ups, Marvel X-men cause my favorite since the 80s was Wolverine, and my prepubescent crush on Dark Phoenix lives on.
Single character story DC Aquaman, I just really dug the sea and sealife stuff
Television.. DC Arrow was the most entertaining and the Arrowverse crossovers were fun, but I wanted to smack the flash's douche face and arrogant grin. fuckin putz. Still I watched all the crossover episodes with Arrow in them. Peacemaker was hillarious!
Marvel Iron fist and Defenders. Jessica Jones season 1 was awesome, then i lost interest. Daredevil, meh, was never into it and found his lawyer persona pretentious as fuck for a dogooder helping poor people.
Pre-Universe movies... Marvel Blade, loved those movies.
DC Reeves' Superman, Keaton's Batman
Universe movies... Ironman, Guardians(not 3, dont think gunn half assed it, think he went off the rails going all rocket, no matter how much i find pratt annoying, his Starlord made the guardians, not rockets whiny bitch ass and giving him a sob backstory and dead animal experiment friends doesnt change that. hell i like Nebula better than rocket and not just cause i remember how cute she was in dr who as Pond)
I really liked Shang Chi, the first Black Panther(wakanda forever as long as its not the sequel, Boseman was the man) the first Dr Strange Movie was fun, and Thor had 2 good movies, 1 blah and 1 well i whatever i wasnt bored. A lot of the others were just bad, hated captain america and wish Iron Man killed him in civil war, cying of old age was undeserved. Black Widow movie was fun and funny.
DC I found sneider cut of justice league entertaining and may have found it great if I had not watched the original which i thought was garbage. And dont hate me, but I liked both Suicide Squad Movies.
Aquaman movie(only saw first) I thought was fun and enjoyed a lot. Hated bens batman. Cavill is awsome but didnt care for his Superman movies. I ignore all Batman movies as they are more recycled than spiderman at this point. kinda why i didnt mention tom holland in marvel even though i thought he was good. Wonder Woman, 84 was well idk but it was painful to watch, so bad.

Growing up with the Batman and Superman movies and the animated series I always preferred DC, but the MCU output was way better than any DC movie in recent years.

Strictly speaking about the female superheroes I definitely have to go with DC.

I would go with DC, primarily because they got most of the British Invasion output (Watchmen, Doom Patrol, Shade the Changing Man, etc.)

show or comic? The show is its own thing in my opinion but the comic is way different, more dark, and has a bigger twist. But I still enjoy the show.
