This looks weird, like it's not really drawn but filtered from a photograph but with a really bad filter.

They're using RL models and "cartoonizing" them. It's a very common practice.

Sometimes the end result is good, sometimes, not so much.

It's a matter of taste too. I particularly like it(when it's done well) but I know many people don't.

One game that did it really well(IMO) was blurred lines. Sadly it got abandoned still early on development.

A famous one is Good Girl Gone Bad, although that one isn't as "in your face" as this one.

Old porn games(from the early internet era, around the 00s) did it a lot. It's a bit nostalgic even.
