Overview:
Love, Elections, and Chocolate is a romantic visual novel developed by the Japanese game studio Sprite.
Upon its release in Japan, it garnered numerous awards for its exceptional art, captivating music, and well-crafted characters.
Sappy romantic Oojima Yuuki and notorious chocolate-hater Sumiyoshi Chisato are longtime friends who both attend Takafuji Academy, a massive mega-school with over 5,000 students.
The two are part of the Culinary Research Club—which sounds cool on paper, but in actuality, is just an excuse to sit around and eat junk food with their friends.
As the Student Council presidential election approaches, however, the CRC is targeted for termination by a prominent candidate named Shinonome Satsuki.
Their only option: Join the election and keep her from winning at any cost!

That's what I thought. It's a probem with sloppy terminology (by accident or malicious, I don't know), especially where it comes to Steam. Often VNs will have ALL sexual content removed to get an all ages tag in hopes of more sales through greater visibility, then they have an "uncensor" patch that just restores the original, but still pixelated sexual content/scenes. Dilligent outlets will correctly call these "content restoration" patches, knowing that uncensored means something entirely different to most of us.

I had a feeling that's what was going on here. Thanks for sacrificing your time to find out.

If I had to guess, (I haven't played it myself), any sex would probably be towards the end. The game looks like it's a focus on romance and not sex, so any sex involved would be the destination, not the trip. Glancing at VNDB, it's listed as having 35 hours of playtime (

As I said: I haven't played it myself. All of my assumptions are based on tags and the glance I took on VNDB.

If nothing else, I should probably tweak some tags, 'cause the ones on VNDB are far more robust than the ones on here. Lmfao.

having run through the game to the first sex scene to see if the patch worked I can say if you set all the text speeds to max and set it on skip then let it run on fast forward after about 12 choice bubbles at about 5 minutes and 15 seconds you will get to a scene where you fuck Isara but even with the patch its censored with pixels

Well. I just finished the cat-girl storyline, and my impressions are mostly positive.
If the player has no problem with a lot of text, the game can provide a good and interesting story with colorful characters.
