More Tags or Fewer?

I think more tags are better but I feel that there should be a better tag system in general. This is not specifically a LewdCorner issue as I haven't been active enough to experience tags on here, but something that would show what tags are specifically for. I'm not sure how to explain it but if there is something like incest, I want to know what the incest is about. Even if it also had tags like mother, sister, or son, who do those character do the incest with? Are they all together? Is it MC as the son with the daughter and mother? Kind of a shit ass explanation but something more detailed. Or maybe showing general tags at first, and if you want to see more specifically those tags apply to, you can see the more specific tags. Like if a game has the Incest and Rape tag and I only like Mother-Son Incest but hate when Women get Raped, I'd want to know if the game has Mother-Son Incest but doesn't have Female Rape.

I'm the opposite in the incest part. I don't want to even play a literal motherfucker in a game. Sister or cousin.

Depends on the game and tags themselves. People say less it better because the game could be more focused, but tags are a filtering system, that means more tags means a game is more focused.
With that said I don't mind one way or the other as I tend to only have strong feelings for a few tags.

Easier to read with fewer, but accuracy is important too.

Very important is they are ALL tagged, so you don't get a nasty surprise like ntr or futa.

Most of the time I don't have problems with tags, I just see what I like and play, if I see that there is a ntr tag but it is not avoidable then I don't play.
Another one when I start a game then I finish and I find out that he doesn't plan on having a harem so I leave him because I don't understand why there are like 3 to 8 women to only choose one, he loses potential

Of course on Fuck 95 they usually don't tell you if NTR is avoidable, unless someone asks (if they answer.)

Videogames give you the liberty to explore many different tags since videogames are not usually limited by time or lenght. You can make your visual novels with thousands of chapters, or you can create mechanics for your game to fill gimmicks for all tags.
It is the true expression of freedom of content. So if you want to add more tags it will always be a positive.
The recommendation I would give you is to focus on quality instead of quantity. Not only for the number of women in the game, but also with the tags. Focused and well developed scenes are always preferable as many but shallow, pointless, empty.

If it's things like Netorare, Netori, and Netorase then it's a necessary thing, although it all falls under NTR, they're different enough to need their own tag.
Otherwise if we're talking about Incest, there's no need to say which family member is involved, you'd end up with a ridiculously long list of unnecessary tags.

In general, if they help give a clearer preview of the game, then let them be added.

Depends on the creator, some make it work by building up over time, while others end up just a mess of half-finished scenes that dont make sense, just come up out of nowhere or ruin the vibes

I agree, that fuck9* before I played a game New Coral City, the first season there was no ntr and the second I thought the ntr was avoidable (they never mentioned it) I always play better options but no matter how much I did the ntr it was not avoidable (it was not 1 character but with all of them, the ex, the ex's friend, the ex sister-in-law, the mother-in-law and among others), that game disappointed me since 1 was good and the second was bad and so I quit but I told him to fuck off on that site (there I don't care if he bans me or not).

They're very ban happy there.

I don't care, if the story and animation quality is good then everything is fine.

I like a lot of tags but they have to be something that i'm interested in also, got have a good story and characters

as long as it's organized, i don't mind

I don't mind few or lot of tags. I mind it when Tags are displayed but not in the game either by mislabel or because it is 'planned' at some point 5 years from now.
Just tell me what is in the game now and playable so i can determine if its worth the DL.

The tagging system needs to have primary and secondary tags. Primary tags are which the game is mostly about. Secondary tags are if there are only a few scenes with it in. So 1 femdom scene in the whole game it is a secondary tag if the whole game is a about femdom it is a primary tag.
