Lots of Tags, Good or Bad?

I prefer games with simple stories and compelling content. I usually stick with games with only a handful of tags, incest, pregnancy, etc. But many games here and on other sites have a whole paragraph of tags, listing all of the various and sundry kinks and fetishes that are included.

Do you guys like games with a variety of different tags, or do you prefer to keep things simple?

Less tags is always better... the more tags a game has the more convoluted it is.
It also means the dev tries to please everyone, pleasing no one in the end.

Less tags leads to a better experience overall I think, since the dev is more focused on a smaller set of things to write and handle.

Lots of tags usually means it's one of the most ambitious and most likely to become abandoned, though if they're able to pull it off the games with more tags are usually my favorite and the most impressive and popular

generally the more information you give / more transparent you are the better, nobody forces you to read them all, and in case it is TLTR you can always use search function

I like fewer because usually 500 tags are inserted and half applies to like 3 renders of the whole game. But I cannot stand it when tags are missing and you fire a game up that apparently doesn't have X or Y and after 15 minutes are immediatly greeted by X. Planned tags are also kinda pointless imo, just seems like clickbait.

Tags and reviews are important since games are not just one or two hours investments, they are dozens of hours of story, panels, grind, mechanics etc.
If you like something and you want that something in, tags are very important to help filter the mass amount of garbage content exist.

Oh yeah planned tags and endings that are abandoned suck. I recently found that out from My Pleasure. Did it have an rushed ending i mean kind of, was there pregnancy or story resolution no.

I prefer more, to an extent. because a variety of the typical sex tags like anal, oral, titfuck, creampie, etc... are a good way of noting that theres at least a small variety of scenes to make it worth playing, if its lacking all of them, its a bit too indev or empty. it *is* porn after all. they're also a great way of knowing what games I should avoid. while theres nothing wrong with a game that's got a simple story, the actual tagging I feel should always show more rather than less.

As long as those tags are used activly in the story, and it isn't ruined in the process, I am all for lots of tags.

I like lots of tags because I like lots of variety in a game. It's only an issue if a game gets tagged with a fetish that only shows up once or twice. The opposite can be kind of an issue too, where a game gets tagged with something I'm not into, but it's barely featured.

I think the main reason for more tags is to help specify a little more, but I could see it being confusing to.

I'm a freaky guy, I like freaky stuff. more tags usually means more kinks included, means more stuff for me to enjoy

Simple stories can be fine that don't have a lot of stuff in it but so can ones that cover lots of kinks. It really all boils down to quality of content. Good writing and good art are way more important than how many kinks are covered or not.

I prefer a lot of tags, as long as those tags are actually in the game.
