More Tags or Fewer?

I tend to interpret more tags as meaning there is more content and the game is more developed, though this is not always the case.

prefer lots if dont right and not just in the game for 1 or 2 frames

If it's a short game that i can complete in one sitting then less tags is better. If we are talking about VNs or AVNs where the characters and story are getting extremely in depth, then more tags could easily be added with more attention to detail.

Honestly, tags are a secondary issue for me. I look through them thatyy only make sure that the game does not have anything unacceptable to me (scat, futa/trans, gay, furry etc.) On the decision to download this or that game, a more serious role is played by reviews, alas, here they are few and their level is often very unsatisfactory, so I have to turn to reviews on F*95.

Tags don't really bother me, they let me know more or less what I'm getting into. 😁

As long as they're accurate, the more the better. I like to know what I'm getting into...

Depends on the blend of tags something like harem NTR is a no go but harem pregnancy is ok and NTR swinging is ok. something like fantasy scifi would be another example of a no go though in extremely rare examples it can be properly blended into an entertaining story.

I find that games with a lot of tags useall lack focus.
Like this has a mind control tag but the mind control is 1 entire scene.

The more the better. Helps decide what you are looking for in a game

As long as there are tags of the content I like and not tags of things I dislike is all good.

It doesn't matter to me. Having a tag means there's at least one instance where it's shown, not that the game is focused on it.
I really wish there was a system of major and minor tags here to better filter and find games.

The more the better imo, it makes it so everyone can enjoy some part of the story. But I like it when the devs give you the option to explore those tags if you want and it isn't 100% necessary for the game

More is always better imo. If I like something I want other people to enjoy is as well. If it's some of the more fringe stuff, I just want to option to avoid it in my own playthrough.

I'm pretty much in this camp. I take it as a big warning sign when there is a wall of tags for a first/second release title. Feels like too much of a scatter gun approach just to bait people in and shows a lack of overall vision for the story or faith that the work will be able to stand on its own merits and as such an increased chance of being written into a corner and abandoned. Fewer tags for early releases to me is an indication of a clearer creative vision and tighter story control. I can't explain it rationally its just a gut feeling. Again not always the case though.

I agree with you.
Unfortunately, It seems to be often the case + the fact that lot of games add tags before the scene even exist (some people request future tags with the first release)
So, for me, it's the less the better.

With the current tags, I'm gonna say medium, because currently we have "oral sex" and "blowjob" as separated tags, "loli" and "virgin" (not the same, but the first includes the second most of the times) or "vaginal" when maybe should better "non-vaginal". It's pretty easy a game has tag redundancy.
