A Bit About Me:​

You can call me Cleo. I am 18 and I started playing visual novels quite some time back. Now I think I am ready to make one of my own. However doing so alone is pretty complicated. So I decided to ask on LewdCorner for some help. I'll segment everything I have to say in proper sections for the ease of navigation.

About The Project:​

• Engine: Ren'Py
• Genre: 18+ Adult Visual Novel
• Status: Pre-Production (plot outline, initial ideas about the story are ready, script is being written)
• Tone: This will be a mature story that explores controversial topics and psychological depth. While it will feature explicit adult content and intense imagery, absolutely no illegal content will be included.

Roles Needed:​

I am looking for committed team members, who wish to build a standout portfolio piece and share in the Project's success. The following list is in the descending order of priority for my current needs, however everyone will be respected and be given adequate division of work.

• Lead Artist(2D) [CRITICAL NEED]: Since my own art skills are non-existent, the Lead Artist will be in charge of the visuals.
• Co-Writer/Editor: I am handling the primary script and dialogue myself, but it would be great if someone was there for second opinions and to help us improve the storyline and polish the writings. Two brains are better than one!
• Proofreader & Play Tester: After completion of each scene or any significant part, I would require someone vigilant enough to figure out the small bugs or glitches before release.

Division of Payment:​

This project is currently unfunded, operating as a collaborative freelance partnership.

• Fair-Splitting of Revenue: This project will be a partnership between 4-5 people, including me. Once the game is launched, the pay will be divided, reflecting the amount of contribution.
• Flexible Schedule: Initially it will be a freelance group project. I will never ask you to dedicate all your time here, just enough so that the project doesn't fall apart. I would like committed people to come forward who will not ghost the project.

We can of course discuss everything you need to know or ask.

You should probably add a bit more about the story and the game's eventual tags. There are more amateur writers than artists, so they have plenty to choose between.

All i know at this point is that:
1. It is an AVN
2. That it will either be a deep experience, or a "deep experience" i.e. Subarashiki Hibi vs DDLC
3. Payment is based on the eventual success of the game, however monetisation method is undisclosed

AH im not used to lewdcorner interface so the tags might be a bit lacking.
As for the plot I will not disclose anything in public other than the fact that it will be taboo and optional incestual (you can choose your own labels). It will revolve around an unique base of multiple personality of the MC. Might be a harem type game, and can include trap/femboy content. these are the rough ideas i can share in public.
I often let my stories tell themselves, it looks edgy if i force it to go to one single direction when it clearly might have a better alternative.

as for payment method, I'm still working on that, it will most likely be paypal, payoneer or such. it will be decided based on what everyone can use. I cannot say for sure till I have a full team.

It can be a surface level exploration with shocking scenes like Doki Doki Litterature Club, or it can be a deeper experience like Subahibi, or The House in Fata Morgana. So I was wondering where it was on a scale from "Edgy teen fanfic" to "Incomprehensible depth"

Also, by monetisation, I meant the game, not the payments. So will the game be kickstarter backed, patreon funded, full purchace on itch?

Yup, I can. "mature story that explores controversial topics and psychological depth" can be interpreted in many ways. It can be a surface level exploration with shocking scenes like Doki Doki Litterature Club, or it can be a deeper experience like Subahibi, or The House in Fata Morgana. The psychological depth means it will contain stuff that is considered psychological disorders by professional medicals. It can include amnesia, split persona, multiple persona, insanity, etc. It won't be edgy teen stuff like the corny Instagram reels. It will have lots of twists and unexpected things that will make the reader think "Damn, so that's what happened?'

as for monetisation, we most probably will use itch, but we might use other platforms like subscribestar or such, the exact platform for fundings will be decided later, for now its an indie-freelance project and when we make profit it will be shared amongst the team. I hope that clears things up
