It's not a DRM thing, it's just 2 different versions and it's rather common knowledge (or should be) that a save for one version generally will not work for another with Renpy AVNs, esp if at a save point made in a sub version is at content that doesn't exist in a free version, so of course it will throw an error and crash. My advice is simply forget the shorter free version and just wait for the sub version to leak and only play that version. Other than that this game is worse than a sandbox last time I tried it (RNG for the loss) and it sucks anyway.

Your lack of experience in an issue is not the same as it not being a thing. Nicest is 100% correct. Hell i told you the exact same thing too. The only reason its not an issue for 'most' renpy games is most devs dont maintain two branches of a game. All the content is in each version. When its not the case, THINGS CRASH.

Dev note that it is still a work in progress so you might fk yourself if you preg her, so "save often" was the warning.

Newer version probably already set the system in place but we playing F2P version so right now you still need to take care. I'm waiting for the next big release to play again.

So true, the amount of grind needed is insane. And it's there without a proper guide. so, you you can mess something up without even knowing and have to grind again for hours just to go back to where you were.

Without playing the easy mode, am I missing something? It's a real struggle to level her up, especially in attraction. Have about 300 trust, but my attraction leveling is +1 for head pat and then lewd topics of conversation, which even if it's identified as her "interest" seems like it's random as to whether she likes it or not, and if she doesn't i lose points, PLUS I lose a point a day in it anyway, so i'm constantly hovering around 1 - 5 attraction and it's been like WEEKS of game time like this. At this rate shes going to 40 years old before we graduate from head pats.

I played on normal. Picked longing (no bonus, but no penalty either) and the Day Trader option. When you start, dump most of your money into the savings account and set the risk profile to offense. I found with that start you reduce the tedium. Your money will gain enough interest that you can just make the occasional withdrawal in batches as you need and not struggle. After that you are best save scumming for a lot of the actions as they are all RNG based. Keeping her mood on good or above through save scumming the cheer up option works better. Even with all that, it still takes a while to get going but it snowballs once your over the first few hurdles.

The game is still pretty grindy on easy mode and will take hours irl and weeks in game still to get through all the content with lots of repetition. Worth playing on easy mode though, the latest scenes are all great

I think I finally broke through. There's a real hump going from 0 Attraction to enough to get the first kiss weekend scene at the fair. Once you get that is seems to snowball pretty quick it seems (still a way to go but now like a new scene every weekend it seems).

If you don't use cheats (I'm invoking the 5th Amendment), it will become terribly tedious and frustrating, but you shouldn't overdo it with cheats either, or you lose the enjoyment of the game, which by the way has quite good image quality.

Shift+O

But You'lll need to enable it prior, to do so;

Go to "Renpy" folder in the living together folder

Go to the "Common" folder

Copy and save somewhere else the "console" rpy file in the folder

when a back up save is done, open console rpy file

go to line 108 : "config.console = False"

replace False by True and save.

now you have access to the console within the game by pressing Shift + O.

Enjoy.
