Only watched 1 episode, but it set the bar really high. Loved it and captured the feel quite well! Definitely not another Halo

I didn't have high hopes, after what Amazon did to WoT and LotR, but Fallout was actually pretty good, nothing jumped out as crazy woke or just a stupid thing changed for no good reason. Much in the same way The Expanse was adapted. It just 'felt' right. Don't hesitate to give it a shot. Plus the lead female is a knockout, such attractive eyes.

It’s pretty good. Just finished the last episode. It stay faithful to the games (mostly). The story is pretty good but miss the random nature of just exploring the wasteland like you would in game. More open story for newbies, but still pretty cool.

Video games don't make good live action usually, but how do you screw up Halo. I have little to no hope if a Mass Effect adaptation was ever made the same wouldn't happen.

Definitely would recommend Fallout, only people complaining about it are people mad about continuity but it didnt bother me at all.

Agreed. Generally they don't.

I still stand behind the first Silent Hill movie though.

Solid 8/10, captures the vibe of the games really well. There are some people pissed off at one event being inconsistent with things said in New Vegas and acting like the whole game was retconned.

Halo is standard sci fi tropes, but there is a deep lore and mythology not one i'm very aware of because i am at best a person who enjoyed 1-3, and reach. But the show discarded it completely. I'd be keen to notice messed up details like i have in Disney Star Wars, if Mass Effect was butchered.

saw ep 1. i initially had very low expectations for it, but was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. That being said, i do have a few issues with it, but i intend to keep watching.

as for adaptations, the One Piece live action adaptation was actually good imo.

There's a lot you can't do with live action, some things should just be left how they are instead of trying to force it back to relevancy.

Despite the whitewashing Live Die Repeat, Aka Edge of Tomorrow isn't that bad of an adaptation of All You Need is Kill. Also the low budget Space Battleship Yamato wasn't bad, even if the lead wasn't up to the task of playing Kodai. Alita i very much enjoyed even if is Disneyfied the manga and totally toned down the violence.
