Here are the notes for the recent Halloween Update :
Halloween is back with new rewards, more hidden pumpkins, a mysterious new worker, new plants, expanded Belly Growth support, and the first steps toward a Worker Personality and Karma System!
There's also plenty to discover around the island, along with several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
The Halloween pumpkin hunt continues, with even more hidden pumpkins scattered around the world!
New additions include:
- Approximately 13 new hidden Pumpkins, each rewarding 20 Halloween EXP.
- 2 new Big Pumpkins, each rewarding 50 Halloween EXP.
- A total of 360 additional Halloween EXP to collect!
The maximum obtainable Halloween EXP is now approximately
3,760 EXP, with
3,700 EXP being the intended final milestone.
You don't need to find every pumpkin to unlock the final reward!
Some pumpkins are quite well hidden, so keep your eyes open while exploring.
New
Demon-themed Halloween clothing is now available to unlock by collecting Halloween EXP!
The collection includes:
- Demon Horns
- Demon Wings
- Additional demon-themed cosmetics
- Alternative materials for new cosmetic
Collect Halloween EXP by finding hidden pumpkins and unlock these new rewards!
A mysterious new worker has appeared for Halloween:
Sadako!
She's a little different from the other workers, and perhaps a bit scarier, too.
Sadako follows an unusual sleeping schedule:
- Active during the night
- Sleeps during the daytime
Unlocking Sadako requires something a little different from simply collecting pumpkins.
Hint: Return to the
Main Island (Starter Island). Two new pumpkins are hiding a secret.
And one more thing...
Bring some Paper with you.
I'll leave the rest for you to discover!
A new plant can now be obtained exclusively through
Random Seeds!
Similar to the existing Meat Plant, this new plant can produce:
However, getting one won't be easy:
- Has a low chance of appearing from Random Seeds.
- Takes a long time to grow.
- Building a farm with these plants will require some luck and patience!
I've also slightly increased the chance of obtaining the
older Meat Plant.
Note: Once workers receive individual food preferences, growing meat on a plant still won't convince a vegetarian worker to eat meat. XD
I've started implementing a new system that allows workers to react differently to certain player activities.
Depending on their personalities, workers may dislike actions performed nearby, such as:
- Using the Butcher Table
- Melting Plastic Bags (we all know who won't like that...)
- Cutting Down Trees (how dare you!)
These actions can affect worker stats, including
Happiness and
Affection.
Different workers may react differently to the same activity, making their individual personalities more important.
Please note: This system is still a work in progress. Animations and visual effects haven't been added yet.
A new hidden, global
Karma stat has been added!
Karma tracks your general behavior toward workers and will eventually contribute to a
Good–Evil progression system.
Certain actions performed near workers can already reduce your Karma.
Additional planned Karma penalties include:
- Giving workers food they dislike when you already know their preferences.
- Triggering the Pain effect during Funtime.
- Performing activities that certain workers strongly dislike.
Important: Karma currently has no direct gameplay effects, but your actions are already being recorded in the background.
So... maybe think twice before doing something questionable in front of your workers. XD
The Belly Growth System has been expanded to
8 additional workers!
Newly supported workers:
- Dapnee
- Ananya
- Bebe
- Arin
- Synthia
- Katarina
- Fiona
- Alisa
More workers will receive support in future updates!
The
30th Heart of the Island has been added somewhere in the world!
It currently doesn't unlock anything, but it may become relevant in a future update.
Happy hunting!
Some older mysteries may now reveal additional information!
- The final location of the Halloween Doll Quest now displays something new.
- Certain previously discovered locations may contain new clues.
Hint: It's worth revisiting places connected to older mysteries.
If you discover something new, remember the location — more content is planned there in future updates!
The Picture Frame has received a small quality-of-life improvement!
You can use Picture Frames to display images from your own PC directly inside the game.
To use an image:
- Find the image on your PC.
- Right-click it and select Copy as path.
- Paste the path directly into the Picture Frame's input field.
The game should now
automatically remove quotation marks surrounding copied file paths.
Previously, you had to remove these manually.
Selecting an image still requires copying its file path, but this should make the process a little easier!
Let me know if you encounter any issues.
Fixed an issue with the
Albino Avocado when using it at the Dinner Table.
Additional balance changes:
- Reduced the amount of Hunger removed by the Albino Avocado.
- Lowered the minimum Hunger requirement needed to give it to a worker.
Previously, you sometimes had to wait until a worker became hungry enough before using the Albino Avocado and receiving its effect.
It should now be possible to use it much earlier!
Worker Interactions
- Fixed an issue where pressing the Sleep button during an interaction could cause workers to briefly start a job for approximately zero seconds.
- Fixed this behavior for Alisa, Banini, and Gunana.
Character Fixes
- Fixed Fiona's and Alisa's LOD (Level of Detail).
- Fixed Alisa's Belly Growth not being displayed correctly.
- Fixed Albino Fruit interactions with Alisa.
Items
- Picking up the Purple Sphere now displays the correct item name.
There's plenty to explore in this update, from hunting hidden pumpkins and unlocking Demon-themed clothing to discovering Sadako and uncovering new mysteries.
The Worker Personality and Karma Systems are also taking their first steps, with more features and consequences planned for future updates.
Have fun exploring, and let me know if you discover any bugs!
