Got into it with some friends back in the day and have had an on/off relationship with it. I'll hop on for a month or two then get off for like 6, and the cycle continues.

Played it with mates back in the day, I got good at it, and when you're good at a multiplayer game there's a certain level of satisfaction climbing the ranks and winning against real people. Nowadays I'll play the odd game from time to time, but haven't got the time to sink into climbing those ranks anymore.

I think it's a great game if you don't take it too seriously, cause the toxic community can be very depressing. Besides that, grinding ranks etc is very very tiring, but just a game now and then is fine

played a lot from s1 to s9, life caught up, i used to play it with dota and other games. queue is unbearable now so i haven't touched it. sometimes i try to queue but shits too long so i just log off, my rank already decayed at this point

Treat the game like you're playing checkers. Watch for crying... laugh... that is why to play

i would say it has a worse rep then deserved. the game is quiet fun. the toxic community? from my expieren almost all pvp games have a toxic community if you allow them to chat.

my problem with there game if show they update the game so often. they changed the gameplay so much since the beginning and im not rly interessted to relearn the game every 2 years or so. and they catter to shorter and short games. this make the community more like less just surrender early and start a new one. this from my expierence drove away more normal ussers and toxic players stayed.

Once you have a child, it becomes awfully hard to have normal gaming sessions without failure of your other duties. That it what stopped me.

for me it was mostly all the friends i played with stopped playing. the game changed to much. and the community got even more toxic. now i just sometimes play with firends but thats preventing me from comming back is the game changed too much.

As a silver player, I enjoy the game quite a bit. I have made sure to mute all chat and am not afraid of muting pings, so I don't see too much toxicity in my games.

I used to enjoy this game quite a bit a few years back but it's just too obnoxious.

I like the game itself, but it happens that after just one game i get so tired mentally, its tough to play with delusional people.
The game is definitely the best with group of friends

Obviously because I hate myself. But, for real, it's because it was the first PvP game that I was one of the best at (Challenger Top 10 back in Season 3).

Used to play Norms mostly, but now I'm a filthy aram casual.

Originally I've played it with a group of friends to roll randoms with, later on I mostly played ARAM for mostly mindless entertainment and now I don't play it at all, because they added Vanguard to it. I'd also go back to Dota 2, which had a period of time when it was amazing, but I really hate the amount of pointless changes Icefrog pushed over time. I don't want to go through the jungle to grab random neutral item drops and distribute stuff around. That change alone made me despise the game and there were other dumb little decisions I can't really remember anymore after years of being clean.
