I guess I'll be able to tell tomorrow but is there any interest on less than 100? I don't know how long this existed, I pretty much stopped visiting this site when LC Coins became a thing but figured I'd give it a second chance...

Yes. but it's not even worth it. Waiting 1 day for 1 coin.
Even if you have 1000 it only gives 10 coins per day.

Then the best time to deposit new coins in the bank, assuming you already have some there, is right after collecting interest.

No, there is a bank system where you can deposit your coins and get 1% daily interest.
In other words 500 coins in the bank = 5 coins per day.

I've made deposits in the "Bank" and, as yet, have had no interest credited. First deposit was a couple of days ago, and I've added to it a couple of times since, but no interest has accrued. Someone elsewhere indicated that you had to "collect" it, but there was no active "collect interest" button.

Today, I saw a countdown to when I could "collect" interest, so I didn't add to the deposit since I know from prior experience that that changes the clock.

I went to the bank a little bit ago, and it said I could collect in "3 minutes". I went back about five or six minutes later - it now says "next collection 7 minutes ago" and won't allow me to "collect" anything.

To get interest, do I actually have to be here when the clock hits zero and then "collect" within 30 seconds or some bullshit?

What's the deal? Where's my interest for the last three or four days, and how do I claim it?

Maybe someone here has had success - none of this is making any kind of sense.

When it gets to the time to collect just hit the reload button on your browser and a button to collect your interest will show up.

The button finally showed up after refreshing a few times. And it only gave me one day of interest - not the three days I earned.

This site is driving me nuts.

Yeah, I tested leaving it untouched for over 60 hours, and the result is the same.
So you're getting 1% interest after leaving it untouched for 24h, any deposit or withdrawal resets the counter.
And you should try to collect as soon as possible after the 24h, because any extra time is just lost, it's waiting for you and the next 24h starts only after collecting.

As I mentioned in another thread before: I remember one guy explaining the bank feature to me and he said that it is only a side effect from the coin plugin they are using. So it's not intended to be used anyway, thus the low interest rate. Due to the manual collection process (once every 24h after you've not touched it in any way for a whole day) this only really replaces the daily login bonus, which got removed.
In my opinion it's not worth it. I kept my coins there initially, when everything gave 1-3 coins, but then did the math and said "Fuck it"

Still tho, it's only 5 coins, basically 1 reply, but in a long-term can be crucial. Who knows what kind of feature in future will require coins to unlock...

But remember, you have to collect every day, they won't accumulate.

If you're visiting every day, it can actually be quite consequent.
People often underestimate the power of exponential growth, 1000 coins placed in the bank and collecting interest daily for a half year will turn them into 5667, enough to buy Member+, VIP, and VIP+. And 1 year will turn them into 37780 coins!

probably you know about this but first you need to add some coin to the bank. It should be over 50 coin to gain something btw. You need to left it alone for 24 hours, this means no more deposits. If you deposit you reset the 24 hours timer. If you manage these, after you earn your interest there is a button appear called redeem, you need to redeem it from there. If you collect some coin by being active, this is the best time to make another deposit. If this way does not work for you, as coin thing is new, it may have some sort of a bug so I suggest open a ticket about it.

I think the bank should get a ceiling to the amount you can have in it 1%/day interests is actually insane when you look a what happen over time.
If you put your free 150 LC in the bank and get interests every day, after 1 year, you have 5667LC, after 2 years you have 214 138LC and that's without adding any LC you get in other way.
If enough people start using the bank, after some time anything added to the shop will either have to be crazy expensive or any old member will be able to buy it pretty much instantly

Is the bank interest working at the moment? As I understand, if I "collect" the interest after 24 hours it is supposed to be added to the bank deposited amount. However, in the first time, I believe I could see in the actions logs that information, and for a few days now, I haven't seen it. As the amount is very small, I really don't know if the deposited amount changed, but I believe it hasn't. I kept the bank still for at least 24 hours (no deposits during this time) so it should not have been reset AND the information says interest collected, I just don't see it.
Can someone tell me if it is working?
