Latest Updates Text Display Issue

Thanks for flagging this, I’ve noticed the latest updates text looking a bit off too. Hopefully it’s just a quick template or string fix on the site side.

How is it this website breaks every single update they do

Coding is hard, it's easy for something like a stray symbol to get through and break everything

but you can use the latest update page, the works
the latest updates page is abit broken too, when i mouse over a game the drop down text have no background so really hard to read

edit: also the search "box" is totally broken too

It's messier than an all night sex romp...heh

I take it you've never worked the backend of any forum software? It's often buggy as fuck regardless of how careful you try to be.

But I have actually done this multiple years, professionally, as a web developer, for companies.

And let me tell you how it’s usually done:

Before making anything, or any changes, public, you use a version manage tool like SVN or Git to create a branch. You do your work on that branch, and only once everything is perfect, and the branch has passed a review, do you roll it out. This is precisely to prevent these kinds of issues; there is simply no excuse for publishing something that ends up breaking things.

If it breaks every single time you make a change, then you are not working correctly

Getting a bug every now and then, sure, completely breaking every time you change it? You are doing a poor job

Why does the site format have to change like every other day? Can we just pick a format and keep it? Also the latest "update" broke everything .....again.

They have a test site. They should know it won't break to this degree when applying it to the main site. Either they didn't test or their test site is a very poor representation of the live website.
They have a track record of doing the former.

I wonder how much of these issues have to do with slower hardware/slower connections on the user end? I haven't really come across many issues at all. Nor the ones mentioned here.

The latest updates page looked great for like a whole week (new record lol), but yeah - now the text is all out of whack.
