I did a few more since started this thread:

Damn dude this are really good renders, a lot of 3D scenes struggle with creating a good atmosphere, but yours are really good keep up the good work, its fantastic!

lighting is really good
Lighting is the one thing that I feel like really levels up any render from being bland to high quality. I wish a lot of renpy games that use renders for scenes utilized better lighting more.

Damn...As others have said, will play for renders regardless of story:LOL: The ones with the freckles (especially the neko variant)

They are really looking very good. But don't try to archive that for a game except if you have a really decent PC. My game has over 1000 pictures already. Imagine the time you have to spend creating over 1000 Pictures with that quality. Try to find a right balance with good render output. I would suggest that your initial release should have at least 150-300 pictures. Then you should be able to know what you have to expect roundabout during the next months. I wish you the best of luck and totally gonna try it if you go with that quality. :giggle: 💜

Hey guys! :)

I've been playing with DS for a bit during my free time and I made some renders that I wanted to share with you. Feel free to give me your feedbacks if you like it or if you don't like it. I want to improve, I feel like I improved a lot since my first few renders (I won't post the first ones here because they're awful 🤣🤣)

This one has Luna (blonde) and Liv

This is it for now. I would like to hear your guys thoughts about the quality. Thanks in advance.
(ps. first thread btw, still don't know how to make/format a thread, excuse me if I made mistakes.)
What kind of post processing you doing? Photoshop? These Genesis 9's?

Agree, but I'm on Chapter 2 of my game and I'm toying around with a batch process to amp up the color saturation, maybe some HDR. With 4070Ti Super and i9-14900 I can chew through 1000 pictures in minutes with On1 Photo RAW.

Sorry my bad. I thought you are about to start and not on chapter 2 already. :giggle:

I'm not the OP :) I was just saying I'm trying different things out to increase quality while trying to keep render times down.

Is your game on this site? Or is it still in development?

Still in development. Chapter 1 is 90% done with 90 renders and 1 animation. Chapter 2 is about 10% done with 15 renders and 1 animation. Zero sex. Slow burn mystery. Once I'm done with Chapter 2 I will release in Alpha to see if there is any interest. If there is I'll continue with 1 Chapter a month. Total planned chapters 12. The beginning and end are already written. The hardest part is keeping the story simple. Every option given to the player is another branch you have to complete.

@Senix work is beyond mine at the moment, but I'm not trying to get to this level. Doing renders and animations already take too long. Be interesting to see what is post processing, if any, is like. You can achieve much of this by using FX in DS, but it's an order of magnitude more involved. Thus video games not looking like Pixar movies. Too much CPU and time involved.

Render's look amazing! I can't wait to see it in its full glory in a game!

Wow! These renders look really amazing. From the lighting to the color choices and character models to poses, everything looks great!
