discussion Is there a way to turn tags off?

So let's say I'm uninterested in games because they have specific tags. Is there somewhere in the UI where I can turn off tags so I don't see those games in the list when I browse the games forums?

Don't know if there is another way (never used it by myself), but go into your account settings and go here:

Good to know there is a feature for that, but honestly I would advise against doing that. Unless you have something very specific that you can't bare to even think of, you might miss on some very good gems just because there might be some very short, possibly optional content. For example, I would have missed out on Oppai Odyssey, if I were to filter out "trap" tag, which is a big no-no for me. Fortunately it was avoidable and I've enjoyed the game very much.

so quick question on this. I have added a few tags that I want to be ignored but I still see the games in the latest update section. moreover, I see them even if I put their threads on the ignore ( some of those games dont even have an ignore option)
is ther a way to hide the games I am not interested like in that other site?
is it a membership level thing or is it that it is not implemented yet?
and one more thing, how can we see in the latest updates which games we follow ? ( the other site has a little eye icon on the game thumbnail)

Even on "the other site" ignored games show on the update page. Any time a Voronica game is updated the threads turn to whining about not being able to stop seeing the eating animation in the games GIF, even if ignored.

you have the option to either make the ignored games transparent or hide them completely. I would post a screenshot of what I mean but I am not sure it is allowed.
but yes you can actually hide both the threads and the games from your latest updates.

As far as I know the Latest Update plugin doesn't access the ignored lists and some other pesonalized stuff in the same way the rest of the forum does.

The only thing that's a membership thing is Games+.

There will be a better version of the Latest Updates that will have much more controll over it, similar to how F 95 does it, with filter, sorting and all that.
It's already been paid for, don't know when it will come, though.

I would post a screenshot of what I mean but I am not sure it is allowed.

Screenshots are allowed as long as they don't show Members+ content (like those from games+).

the "eye" icon is for games I follow for example and any game I ignore in its thread is hidden both as a thread and as a latest update.

I also noticed that there are some games here that do not have the ignore thread button like for example the one I will put in the next spoiler.

if it is just because of membership level then I might spend the points though I was saving them for higher membership and if it is about the new addon not being implemented yet then I will wait.
I thought for a moment that I was just doing something wrong with my settings.




also, even though I have tags on my ignore list, the games containing them still appear for example netorare ( both variants) and female protagonist.
games contaning them still apear in the latest updatess wher to my understanding they should not.

just curious if I am doing something wrong with the settings.
