Throwing in a stereo head unit that is capable of android auto/apple carplay is pretty easy and very worth doing in my opinion

Sure, but it depends on the car and where you live on if/what you can modify, In the US, you can do allot to a car, in the EU it can be very restrictive, but hey cheap way to see if you can find parts and stuff is to look on sites like aliexpress, i found some fun stuff for my car on there
