discussion Is it ok to bump own threads?

If a thread is not successful maybe its not that interesting.. but I guess its just a matter of time before someone sees it and they could help.
but ofc, its better to wait for a Mods answer, just to be cautious.

The way I see it... if after 1 week no solutions have been found, it is unlikely that bumping it will provide the answer you seek. Still, I would accept bumping one, perhaps 2 times (first not before 1 week, second not before 3 weeks from original posting) to access new members. More than that, I would amount to spamming.
