Is art style something you particularly look for in a game?

Yeah, I mean, some styles turn me off. Some Japanese styles are too cartoony. Some VN styles are too common (all the thicc big-titted MILFs are virtually interchangeable). Some manga stuff is just confusing in another world. I don't think you can go as wrong with normal, dare I say plausible-looking characters. It's so much more fun to corrupt a character who looks innocent than a character who is already drawn in a hyper-sexualized way. So yes, style is super important to me. As far as what I like? I know it when I see it.

It not that I require any certain ones.
More like there are a few overused old asset packs which I really can't stand.
I'll usually not waste much more than 5 minutes on seeing a game use those and ,unless the writing is something that can totally hook me in, it gets the boot.

The art matters quite a bit. I can't say in general what I like, as it depends game to game. The biggest part is I have to like the character designs, if I don't like how the characters look than what is the point. But I can like many things, from DAZ and other 3D to hand drawn western or anime art, I've even liked some Koikatsu base art before. I've even enjoyed mostly text based games.
I think a lot depends on the effort and care the artists put in. If it just looks like an asset flip, or has really jumbled art styles. Some games just feel like they are made with whatever the dev had lying around or could get for free (or in a cheap bundle). I know that most devs don't have the budget for full custom assets, but sometimes they just completely don't match the rest of the game (especially with props and backgrounds).

Artstyle for me atleast is the main driving factor when i decide to play a vn. if its unappealing its really hard to play even if the plot is good. same with manga/anime

It's more about the uniqueness of the style for me. An anime styled game may not draw me in unless the reviews are high.

I actually like a good AI game for this reason. Much more interesting than a run of the mill RenPy game

I dont care if its 2D, 3D, or anything else but I need at least nothing atrocious

Is it just me? i believe a good/unique art style is an important requirement when i look for H-games to play, although it is quite subjective what could considered good, i dont find the more simple or "moe" art styles to be appealing. They are understandable, however, given their ease of drawing
It doesn't have to be a unique art style but there are defiantly certain styles I like more than others. There are even some fetishes I'm not normally into like furry that can be enjoyable. Like the My Little Pony Friendships with benifits game, not normally my thing but the art is really good IMHO.

art style will literally make or break a game. I think the bar isnt too high it just needs to look professional and not scratchy

If the art is even ok, I can get into it as long as the characters are good. That said sometimes characters are so ugly or proportions are so exaggerated i just cant get into it

As long as the girls are pretty, I don't care what the art style is. As long as it looks good and the pictures match the words that I'm reading. I want to see them do things, not just be told that they did them.

I am SUPER picky about the art style and quality of image. If its not a high quality, well rendered image then I wont even give the game a chance. As bad as it might sound, most people play the games to well...enjoy the art in private. So for me the more realistic it looks the better. Although I dont like 3D AI level realistic. Its hard to explain the style I prefer. Look at games from Mr.Dot like Dating My Daughter. For me thats the style and quality i need.

If we're talking about hand drawn art in porn games, I don't really have any sort of preference to the style. For other "styles" I mostly just consume Daz/3D rendered games, some HoneySelect games can be nice but I've mostly completely dropped all Koikatsu stuff. Stuff made in Virt-a-Mate can be nice too, but mostly I just find loli games made in VAM (some are pretty good too)

The art style is important, for example, I can't stand graphics, that look like pencil sketches

Art is a big part of it for me, but I'm a lot more generous with my interpretation of "good" I think. I like art that has its own spin to it even if it wouldn't necessarily be widely accepted

Art style matters, but not having a negative reaction to the art style is more important than having a positive one. Some art styles will completely discount a game for me.
