- it depends how story is written. I have not played this game, but judging by description, both LI's fulfill "mother" role for protagonist. One is a mom, even if she is "step", the other reminds him of his real mother. Game is called incest lover, because protag is drawn to women who act as a mother figures for him.

There are new game that is called Milfheim. Protagonist of which is an orphan. Yet, as i wrote there in the comment section, it is better written than majority of "incest" games. Even thou neither of LI's there are actually related to protagonist, you can clearly see who is his "mom" or "big sister" and how hard it is to overcome "familiarity" for them.
