Will you play a Renpy game anyway?

Yeah, you can always go to it just by hitting the escape key.

Am I the only person that refuses to play Renpy based games that have the in game menu (forward, back, skip, save etc.) deliberately removed by the devs?
Play a RenPy game? I don't unless I open the game files and like the writing and the images aren't so bad it hurts. Otherwise I will just extract the writing and read it.

A few RenPy games I like, if they didn't have the full menu I would change the code to make it.

Apparently I'm in a minority. I remove it because if I need to go back i just scroll up. If I need to save it's right click, left click, right click again, and done. If i'm saving it's probably a choice I want to go back to anyways.
It has nothing to do with that, but you commented anyway.

I play on my phone. So if those menus are removed then the game becomes more difficult for me to play and enjoy. Sometimes there are ways to access the menu, like swipe commands, but it's not the same.

Worse is named saves. On android sometimes it's a simple work around, other times it completely locks you out of using the save menu.

Doesn't bother me at all, bringing menu with RMB is fine for me and even if there is in game menu I always use RMB anyway. As for skipping I just hold ctrl.

I need the back button, sometimes they say just use page up, and it doesn't work.

Your not

Hate it, more if they remove the backward function

I honestly like it, since I usually just use AHK to bind skip and hide on my mouse and only use that when playing.

I think you can easily restore using the console or editing some files
