1st Cousins can marry in plenty of US states, but siblings can't in any. Except maybe Alabama.

As far as I know Siblings are not allowed to marry anywhere in the US (Aunt/Nephew and Uncle/Niece on the other hand can in some... make of that what you will...)

However, the legality of something and marriage are two different things, homosexuality became legal in the US by supreme court decision in 2003 I think? That didn't magically allowed same sex marriages tho, there were a bunch of states that didn't perform or recognize it for over a decade until another supreme court decision forced them to...

Maybe someone said it already, but mostly it's not that it's legal, it's not illegal because it happens so little it's irrelevant and there is no need to legislate it.
I know of a single case in my country, they have kids and they found out they were siblings when the deal was done and there was no point in doing anything about it(the kids were the ones to find out while trying to find their biological grandparents since both parents were adopted).

For example, it's legal to dig a hole on Uranus until you reach its core to pee inside, because, since no one is going to do it, there is no point in wasting time and money to prevent people from doing so.
It happens more often than you think .. you just don't hear about it that much because of social stigma coming with it. 99% of those who had incestuous experience/thoughts do not talk about it for obvious reasons.
Almost every single friend I have/had has at least one example or story where someone they know had sexual intercourse with a close relative.

IIRC 1st cousin sex is legal just about everywhere in the US, but marriage in only a few states. Mostly redneck ones I imagine.

It's called Survivorship Bias. There are lots of stuff happening inside families, they just don't talk about it or showing off

That had to be a big shock...

Well .. this is all fantasy anyway

I have an aunt that asked me some years ago (I was in my 30's) if I would do it with older women if I were single. And she showed me a pic of her in lingerie and asked me, if she looks sexy. I don't know, if this was just to have my opinion and some "talk between adults". I wasn't singe in this time and I'm not a cheater, so nothing more happens. But I don't know what would have happened when the circumstances were others. I mean, she was (and is) still hot for her age. Would I do it? Maybe...
hehe boy

Why would blood related siblings need to marry? You can plenty of fuck every day, you're already connected by blood, I don't see any point in marriage.
You can buy a ring and give it to your beloved sister, she says "yes", PROFIT!

There are no humans' laws on Uranus, it's a good point, now I need a space shuttle!

Not in the least. Much like the smols, the taboo nature is only arousing in a removed fantasy setting.

Don't trust women. 90% of homeless are men, 90% of suicides are men, men will pay alimony for 99% of all divorces etc..

It's better off to live with and love your related sister, than some deceitful hoe who'll betray you in the near future.
What makes you say that your sister won't become a deceitful hoe? I'm sure some of those non-related deceitful hoes are someones sister...
