If you could play any game On-Release again, what would it be and why?

There's so many great ones. Some games that are story driven like "The Last of Us" was amazing. (before zombies story was saturatred)

But I think a lot of games were also so good for them being made at their time. Stories get constantly inspired/recycled as the years goes, and even a unique story lose some magicness when there's a lot of mediocre medium incorporate it in their stories.

I'd have to go with any of the Halo's, reach was my first online experience and it is still so memorable even years later. The trash talking in the mic and the just the whole experience with the community and etc is so different from all the games I've played today.

Witcher 3 felt like the complete gaming experience.
Factorio just remember how addictive that game was (probably not in a good way) lol

Tonight got me thinking about the 'glory days', and it made me wonder what everyone considers the 'glory days'.

For me, I remember playing Halo 3 at my mates house nearly every night of the week until my parents finally upgraded our internet so I could play online. The memories I have coming home from school, and talking shit as a 12 year old through the microphone to full grown adults, all whilst thinking I was the toughest and baddest kid to ever walk the earth. From the campaign, to the Multiplayer, to the custom games, to making our own shitty Machinimas with a Handheld Camera (capture cards were hard to get). For me, the Halo 3, MW2, Black Ops and Halo Reach and Far Cry 2 days were peak gaming. Thats when life was simplest, that's when games came out complete.

Probably some multiplayer games idk

Fallout 3 for me, that game blew me away and nuking Megaton was something else. Also Helping out some kid kidnapper raid little lamplight to get some slaves and dining with some great company that gave me mysterious meat that tasted heavenly. All great times in the capital wasteland and trying my best to be helpful to those in need:ROFLMAO:

there are a lot of ps1/ps2 games that I wouldn't mind replaying for the first time but the highest would probably be monster hunter freedom 2

Silent Hill 2(2001). First time playing story struck me like a sledgehammer.

I say for normal games my list is the following ( Elden ring, Dark Souls series, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim, Mass effect 1-2-3, Nioh series and finally the Way of the Samurai series). I also wish i could have played Demon souls (Original and Remaster) but you know how exclusives are.

As for Adult games only the Black souls games come to mind but I'm not sure this counts as when it was released It wouldn't be translated?

Mass Effect, i remember i played that game a 100 times and aways picked the same route and the same LI (Liara), and the same with Dragon Age Origins (Morrigan)

I think I would choose Unreal Tournament 2004, as a child I downloaded it and played it all the time every time I got a new PC I would download it again and again, once I finished it it gave me a lot of happiness and I think that with that game I started to love video games.

Both Ori games, older FF games (4-5-6-7), Diablo 1 (back when Blizzard was a good company)

Warhawk on PS3 was fuckin incredible at launch. Once these pathetic turds figured out how to fly backwards in "assisted flight" mode it was ruined. But there for a while it was one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had.

I liked Family at Home, it's already finished, but the good thing is that it released a remake. That should be done by other devs, first finish and then remake, but the fucking ones get crazy about making a beginning like summertime saga.
Another game that was just released was Bastian's Family because the story seemed like something from a manhua
