Anyhow, its funny how many people still get upset at the censorship. Not because I think its ok, but because its not hard to google "japanese porn censorship".

I do sometimes enjoy these games but I never understood the transparent blue protagonist thing. If seeing a random dude who doesn't look like you is enough to ruin your self-insert then surely a giant ghostly smurf would have the same effect.

Its about seeing the action without an artifical body covering it. As for why transparent blue, I have no idea, it's been a trope for a while now. "Banshee's Last Cry" is a non pornographic visual novel for the SNES in the '94 and even thathad the "blue transparent character" design.
