I've played a lot AVN games and have come to understand more about it on the deeper level. I started rating them on Various factors like music, animations, render and graphics quality, plot and story progression, etc. (Just for my reference, not on any threads)
Is it me or some other people also do this? If you do, let me know how would you rate the AVN games?

No, not really but maybe I should since it's really hard to keep track over time sometimes when new updates of a game comes out. Many are the times when I've been feeling hyped up just to have mixed the game up with another actual good game.

Feels like a lot of work and some sites already have this (even though I have no idea how reliable these ratings are tbh) but if I did I'd probably use the factors you listed but also list based on tags. Because a game cointaing a specific tag could for me still be better just based on that fact alone while scoring worse on the other factors that you listed like music for example.

I look for a few things 3Dcg, animated sex scenes, harem, VN, story. I like to become immersed in the story and the graphics need to be a quality level as well. Most other tags for kinks depends on my mood.

3dcg ist the most important tag to me. Animations certainly are a plus as well as certain kinks.

Based on story, text to porn ratio, kinks covered, graphics and animations if it's not text based, amount of content, gameplay and grinding if it's not VN, main protagonist and main characters, amount of endings (with more doesn't always mean it's better).

For me, an AVN is primarily 1) a piece of writing (usually not so much a novel as a novella or sometimes even a short story), and 2) porn. Being a game, or even just branching, is secondary for me. In fact, far from expecting them I consider game elements and branching to be negative unless really well done.
I rate primarily based on the quality of the text (mostly trying to ignore minor problems that a simple copy edit would fix), and on the quality of the images and animations.

Anything cartoon or using RPGmaker - or having futa or NTR is automatically rated -500 trillion. Also any kinetic novel as that is NOT a game.
