When life kinda slows down then almost everyday. when life gets busy i'll will not be playing games for weeks even months

I generally read ALL posts of games I follow, and a few various conversations in "General Discussions". I try to find members who like what I like, and then listen "if" they make random recommendations. It has proven to be effective in finding new games.

I find myself searching pretty regularly, usually when I've completed a game and I'm looking for something new to fill the void. It's become a bit of a routine for me, and I've gotten pretty good at finding hidden gems that cater to my specific tastes.
