If a game gives you the choice to end with a single love interest or end with a harem, how often do you chose the single LI over the harem?

When I'm playing a game that has (for instance) 3 LI's and I can choose to either end with girl A, B, C, or all three, I'm going to take that last option every time. I'll probably skip through the other endings for completions sake just to see the scenes, but for me, that harem or polygamous ending is always going to be the ending I'm playing towards.

if im not a fan of all the options or you had to go out you way to do it i often focused on my fav on the first playthrough

I feel like most games nowadays don't even have harem endings anymore. It's either an unavoidable harem or just exclusive romance. Many western devs reject the very idea of a harem as an unrealistic power fantasy. Cowards.
But I do see the point. Sometimes, harems can get out of hand, which dilutes the depth of every individual character and reduces them to tropes.
For the most part, I always go full harem first. But if I don't like half of the cast, I just focus on the girls I like the most and cut off the noise.

Anyway most games that force you to choose one girl always get abandoned by me.

In a harem game? Either when I'm forced to (to unlock the harem ending and/or don't like some LIs) and/or for completionism. (concerning gallery).

The only time I didn't have the MC bang everyone was that one time in WVM where I liked the side characters too much to do it but even then I got all the other girls

No, I'm not a fan of harems. I always prefer the 1 LI option. It's closer to real life. And part of the reason is my conservatism; after all, I'll be 53 soon.

Depends on how well a character is written. I think everyone of us has a favourite character in a game and will think twice about choosing the harem ending over the 1 option.
