I was banned by my local city's subreddit, so I mainly just keep up with r/manhwa for recommendations and such.
Other than that, that place is a shit hole.

I browse reddit when I'm bored but it feels like over the years reddit has gotten less interesting. Probably because a lot of the controversial subreddits have been ban/don't exist anymore. Any one got alternative to reddit to recommend?

It's an ok place to get info on what people tend to agree or disagree on certain topics. The reddit app is shit though. Apollo was my go-to, but since the API change, ApolloPatcher has been the new go-to.

Apart from the dedicated communities and their echo-chambers it's a pretty ok site to kill some time on, mainly use it for reviews/experiences on products and hobbies.

Reddit is just an echochamber. They will downvote anyone whose views dont align with them, even if the said views are valid and relevant. I just lurk and dont bother to respond cos I dont know how my voice will be treated
