Hi folks! Hope everyone is doing okay, especially with the new requirements taking place. I have had my account for almost two years and got on today to find out the news about 'lurkers'. I was just wondering how many have been affected by this that have older accounts?

Been here since September 2022. I've commented occasionally, even made a post at one point! But not really one for too much discussion. I always feel a bit silly posting comments on a game - like, who cares what I have to say? - but it's mad seeing just how many comments games are getting after these new rules. Games I used to frequent that I thought only I played suddenly have pages of comments. I think that's the craziest change. Not losing the sinners section, I know I'll get it back at some point, but just seeing engagement is mental.

Given you a "like"; obviously us oldies need to stick together . It seems that the Fall of 2022 was a good time for lurkers ;-)) In answer to your question, yes, definitely affected detrimentally by the new rules. The requirements appear to be a little counter-intuitive as there are two routes to member+, but you cannot combine the results of the two routes. I think I've understood the rules, but after all, I am only a Lurker: nice people, with strange hobbies (perhaps that should be "strange people with nice hobbies"
