I have so many games downloaded and I try to keep up to date with most of them but there are only a few I actively search for updates.

I always have lots (20+) downloaded but only play one at a time. Gotta finish the one I'm on before I move onto another so I don't lose track of wtf is going on. Then when I finally get around to playing one of them I find there's been a new update and have to redownload it anyway, defeating the purpose of downloading it in the first place. I guess I'm a bit stupid like that.

I usually have about 3-5 game in my "play in progress" folder. I switch between them depending on my mood.
Due to the fact, that I'm only downloading completed games, my "to play" folder is ... clearly arranged I would say (about 60 games currently),
so my backlog is about a year from download to play.
I do not count the games I have on my watchlist (waiting for completion) here and (mostly) on fuck9X ...
I guess my watchlist will swell pretty quickly here, too, once I enter the +section.

1 or 2 no more, but I download all the updates for other games or whatever that I haven't seen yet. like that I never run out of new things (updates can take a long time sometimes)

About 1180 VNs i'm following, probably a few of them already abandoned or had no updates for ages. Typically releases are slow, 6 months or more and updates aren't really that big most are about 30mins of content, its easy to accumulate.

I find it hard sometimes to not download every hot looking game with good screenshots and I end up filling half my hard drive with games I don't actually play. I'd say realistically right now I've got 4 or 5 on the go I actually keep up with and then like 60 just sitting there taking up space? Why don't I delete them? Cause what if I decide to play them later!?

Same I have a seperate harddrive for my adult games, I'll download anything that looks good give it a go, delete if it isn't for me or doesn't have scenes I want to return to. The games that have Scenes I want to return to I keep on the drive (100+ games) also helps with remembering names of games for finding updates later on. I too have a problem

I downloaded 6 yesterday but i only liked 3 of them when i tried em out so i deleted half. I read fast which makes me run out of games quickly and I skim some story cuz theyre not that interesting for me.

As many as I have an interest in. I do have some piled up I will eventually play, but those are more or less in case I don't have anything more interesting to play at any given time.

I have 5 internal drives.
1 of them is the operative system and normal aplications.
3 of them are literally named games. (the biggest have 291 games installed, the other two each have a couple of dozen of big ones, (sims, C2077, etc))
the last one is supposedly for trash I downloaded and have yet to categorize or delete(but it also has 38 games).

I have 3 external drives, but those are for things I can't keep in my system because I lack space.

At most, I play 1 game at a time, but can go weeks without playing anything.

well in circulation atm got 130 just from main list (in sig) + games that are on list which isnt public. many are on standby for years now for what ever reasons.

but in general if i see game i like with potential i put it on one of my lists, atm main (public) lists hold over 1.5k games and still have to add on what ever came in last 3 months (cause it gather shit ton and am lazy) after checkup if its worthy to get on which is over 200 + more, all those new go on 1y probation list, if they survive and dont go to shit are ready to be played.
