So nobody plays light of my life then?
That one update once every 18monts. But every update has like 10hours of content. En he communicates very well with graphic updates how far he is in the process.

Longer than 6 months, unless it is a big update, with a lot of quality content.

Is that game even still in development? Like you said going on more then a year now since I played it.

3-4 months between updates.

I'm a rarity. I don't especially care about dev communication. The reality is, we don't know what's real when it comes to Dev IRL problems that delay the game. They run the gamut of:

-Terrible IRL problems that we wouldn't wish on anybody except our ex-wives... and that's what causes delays... doubly tragic that nobody believes them.
to
-Honest a new personal / health / financial / computer problem... happens... AGAIN... what terrible luck... Please keep subbing.

I can't tell, so I don't care either way. I just coldly but quietly NOPE a project when it's been too long. There are very few 1 year per update games on my list.

As long the update and game is wort the wait i'm not so picky about time. And old saves should work.

3-4 months is long enough.

I don't mind how long the wait is however, if i start to notice decrease in quality and longer update times that say enough for me and I don't bother looking forward to the game and get my hopes up.

6 months. shame seeing your fav games go from 1-2month updates to 6months, to 13months, to almost 2years sometimes. that point not even worth follow much after that or paying

3 months is already a long time... There are some games that I supported but, given the lack of update, that I eventually stopped to support

Yeah, that's one that's ridiculously long. Would rather have it a shorter update with not so long between updates.

like everyone else, but given the number of games I keep and what I add to my list, it's okay. What I can criticize is the added content given the wait but that's another subject.

Every 2 weeks is a bit too much. Can't add much in that time, and if it's one you're not into it's annoying seeing it in the updates that often.

If it's more then 6 months i pretty much forget and dont care anymore about the game.

games that launch updates too short are kind bad too. for me 1 month is the time

I'd say around 6+ months after something significant and 3+ months after projected releases are too spaced for my interest.
