discussion How long do you give VNs to catch your interest?

To be honest i look at the pictures, tags and story posted in the thread. If it catches my eyes i will defo give it a shot. When it comes to the play time i usually decide it on the start. The UI, the graphics, writings like in 5 minutes i'm set. Either i proceed or not.

I am an avid fan of VNs just because of a certain few that felt like striking gold and really sucking me into the story. More in the past than recently... so I figured I would ask here. At what point do you give in to the Skip Unseen Text option and just skim to the naughty bits? What was the point that made you lose interest? Let me know.

if it hasn't hooked me in the first half hour then it probably wont for 15 hours is the way I see it

i just look at the pictures and the tags of the game, if i like what i see then i have to try it

Not nearly as much anymore. I skip through most of the beginning and if they cant provide something I move on.
