discussion How important is an engaging storyline to you?

The are two kind of games for me, the ones that I'm in the story like Action Lessons, and the ones that I'm for the action, as Alyssa, So the second type, I barely follow the story. The first type if the game is completed then I read it with interest, but if the game is not completed and the releases are too spaced I may lose the connection I had in the story and I only stick if it has good graphics.

The story of any visual novel is important to get you involved into it then graphics comes second.

story, you can make a good story with trash graphics (see the spiral legend series), but trash story with good graphics is just a fapping session

Everything matters to a certain extent, you can't have graphics without a story and vice versa and the more decisions you can make, the better

Story if the graphics are alright. Great graphics without a cohesive story feels like a waste for me.

The plot, the story. If I wanted pictures, I would have downloaded regular porn, luckily there is no problem with that.

You need both honestly, but I can be more forgiving if the story isn't the best if the graphics are great. The same can't be said if it were the other way around I don't bother with games that have bad graphics.

This might put me in the minority here, but I don't fap to visual novels, even if the sexual content is god-tier. I know this sounds like a meme, but I actually read them for the story.

So yeah, I rate the story as more important than the graphics.
