discussion How do YOU browse through games on this site?

Hi ya'll, new member coming from F-Nine-5 site here. I've noticed that the Latest Update function on this site doesn't allow you to sort the games ranking as LC doesn't do reviews on game threads. So I'm curious how to fellow members browse and select games to play? Sort by views, sort by likes? Tagging seems messier too, but it's nice that you can select multiple tags with AND & OR options.

Curious to how you folks like to browse games when looking for a new game to tickle your fancy

Mostly by going down the list and checking out whatever I haven't seen before that catches my eye. Figure there's no point in going to the same-old stuff I might find elsewhere - other places tend to be more up-to-date from what I've noticed. Anyway; tag search, input what I like, and it's off to the races I go. Simple as.

If a thread looks promising, I might consider giving it a go. If not, on to the next one. Pity that all the images on game threads got borked by the server changes and all that's left is the preview thumbnails.

Of course, there's also a Members + zone what seems to have more to see, but the regular library is pretty decent, and all you have to do to earn tokens towards getting into the + zone is to chat on the forums. Typically I am a chronic turbo-lurker, so it's been an adjustment for me personally.

I was wondering why the images on the threads were all screwed up. Glad it's not just me me only issue.

any suggestions on how to earn activity coins outside of messages? I'm normally a lurker only, finding it weird to make so much conversation

I go to the latest updates section and select tags for what I'm interested in. If it shows up there that means there's some form of engagement for it.
