I have no idea what it's all about, I only just entered the thread because of the title.
In my case, as long as I have sites on the internet where to publish my games, the rest doesn't keep me awake at night. For it is out of my control, and I can't do anything about it.
For example there are Chinese sites where they sell public releases for credits or something.
My base is on patreon and X. Any other diffusion I can do, no matter how small, is profit for me.

I think games will be "clean-up", with paywalled dirty patches. It's gonna kill Games+ here as eyeballs doesn't = $$$. All internet "freebees" and users are learning this lesson the hard way.
